- Kim Cypher opens the festival at the 25th anniversary festivities near Bournmouth (UK) . STOMPIN' On The Quomps drew bumper crowds to Christchurch Quay on the Saturday, as a host of performers took the stage throughout the day. Bands played on the main stage and the bandstand at the Arts Council England-backed event. Acts at the free festival that year included Snowboy and The Latin Section, Zoe Schwarz and Blue Commotion. It was established in 1994 and is a free al-fresco smooth jazz festival. A spokesman said: "Now in its 25th year, it is a festival that is hugely popular with young families through to octogenarians soaking up the atmosphere and dancing to the sounds of bands ranging from Latin jazz, blues, through to the classic sound of the big band." Indeed the festival culminated with a set from The Taverners Big Band, and guest, which is the band that started off Stompin' On The Quomps 25 years ago. Kim Cypher took to the stage at midday and conquered the festival straight away by huge audience applause and appreciation. Her Jazz music was electrifying. - Frightening is a song as featured in the film 'Burger van at the end of the gig' (2017) It for tells the story of being uneasy on an american express train whilst travelling across the american highways of South Dakota. It's a throwback of when times were much different and travelling perhaps more fun on an old fashioned steam locomotive. During the film, the band The Cherokees travel across parts of Europe and America, and this song accompanies sequences to show the band moving around the continents from gig to gig. The actual song was recorded earlier than the actual movie as it needed to be ready for the post production editing it its finished state, so this song precludes the final tv film production by a year at least.
