A portrait of four young men - Ras and Taj Austin, Rio Loz, and Eric Jamal - from different coasts move to LA with big ambitions, sharing a 400 sq ft studio apt in Koreatown for years. This is not the story of trauma or "making it big." This is a portrait of young Black musicians very much in progress, dedicated to their craft and brotherhood, and making their first album: 505. Along the way they reflect on their own expressions of masculinity, their hopes for the future of hip hop, and regrets the mistakes they've made navigating the music industry.
