- Just before their wedding, Bavarian rural baker Lena Mayerhofer finds groom Hansi making love to a para-nymph. She now accepts as escape the wedding gift she wouldn't take earlier from aunt Käthe, who is retiring abroad: her Berlin bakery. Lost in the metropolis, Lena takes a terrible start, also with the locals. She escapes, but Hübner chases her to a building from which she threatens to jump. Alerted by a passerby, SWAT captain Rosenzweig appeals to Tom Leschek and Jessica van der Laan. Hidden, Hübner watches as Tom prevents her jumping, but soon catches her to be locked up again, only to have his corpse discovered soon after. She's on the run, and takes him, later both psychologists, hostage. While her traumatic past is linked to her dangerous lunacy, she forces Tom at gunpoint to drive a stolen police car towards Poland, without a mid-term plan.
- Idealistic GP Dr. Peter Sommerfeld keeps annoying medical conference speakers with awkward questions about relevant innovations in patients' interest. Initially skeptic when invited by medical equipment firm "Kerner-Medi-Tech" as well-paid consultant, he accepts to inspire its R&D, but finds the head grimly uncooperative, yet comes up with an idea to combine existing electric stimulants to a device for less local application. he hires unconventional interim Irene Kürschner when the firm requires more of his time, also attending conferences, and tricking him into speaking there, while coaxed with perks and seductive PR executive Nora Hansen. Missing his own birthday party at buddy Luca Perugini's Italian restaurant, Peter's truth time approaches.
- Dr. Sommerfeld is torn between two attractive women: Both Dr. Irene Kürschner, with whom he works brilliantly in the shared practice at Bülowbogen despite occasional atmospheric disturbances, as well as the successful and elegant PR agent Nora Hansen covet the likeable doctor. While Sommerfeld keeps losing his rhythm during his hot dance at two weddings, his daughter Nina tells him that she finally wants to move out. On Nora's advice, Sommerfeld tries to lock Nina in a golden cage by renting an apartment directly opposite over her head. When Nina gets wind of the matter, she runs away. At first insulted, then horrified and increasingly frightened, Sommerfeld sets out to search - and is surprised to learn that he doesn't actually know his daughter. When he finally finds her again in Meißen after a real odyssey, Nina drops the real bombshell: she is pregnant, but stubbornly refuses to give the name of the child's father. Sommerfeld, as always a man of action, takes the two potential son-in-law aspirants seriously - of course again without Nina's knowledge. But then suddenly a third candidate, Irene's son Benjamin, comes into play completely unexpectedly. At some point it all becomes too much for Sommerfeld - luckily he still has his best friend Luca, with whom he quickly jumps onto the motorcycle and flees. But on the way, Luca has to make a very embarrassing confession to his friend.
- Alessandro Rossi, an Italia air force officer in diplomatic service, is happy with his wife, pilot Bea Rossi, who had a miscarriage and gets obsessed with her child wish when pregnant again of a boy to be christened Vittorio 'winner'. Bea resigns her job and moves in with his caring rural Italian family -mamma Teresa, papa Giuseppe and Bruder Giorgio- while his job keeps him mostly abroad. Bea's domineering mother Martha, who feels deserted, calls her to Berlin gravely ill, but dies before Bea arrives by train. Clearing out the home, where Bea's first love Moritz Wiesner, who cared fro Martha for her sake, rekindles (un-)happy youth memories. Alessandro can't get Bea to leave Berlin, where after unselfishly saving a child in danger she has another miscarriage, but hides it from Alessandro, whom she somehow blames, and resolves not to return without helping herself to a child, in a deranged way, but gets found out.
