The film chronicles the ups and downs of a Hollywood actress/comedian, Kiki Melendez, as she struggles to make it in Tinsel Town.

Aimed at the young Latino audience, Locos y Contentos is created as the launching pad for comedians and actors through the eyes of the American Latino Experience, executed in the tradition of Mad TV and Saturday Night Live.

To celebrate multicultural entertainers in America and also discover new talent, Kiki Melendez is taking her first-of-its-kind show on the road. The actress, comic and TV producer, best known as the creator of Showtime's "Hot Tamales Live", travels to various locations in a customized RV to do exclusive interviews at events like film premieres, award shows and concerts. In addition, the weekly show features an opening monologue from Kiki, interaction with the audience and her band leader, man-on-the-street interviews, and performances from established and up-and-coming music acts. In other words, a talk show on wheels.

The pompous Latina, Kiki Melendez (Showtime Networks Hot Tamales Live!) and Vicki Barbolak (aka Trailer Vick from America's Got Talent on NBC) put this hilarious COMEDY a show together as most of the comedy clubs are closed in LA, due to the Pandemic. Kiki convinces Vicki to go abroad to find an audience. Selecting Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, a world class luxury destination as the perfect location. Kiki goes back to her roots to fill the room. Vicki is now a fish out of water basking in the sun at one of the top 10 beaches in world at Barcelo Bavaro Palace Resort. They get a call from Crystal Powell also from AGT, and they invite her to participate on the show.
