Often gets confused with another British actor by the name of George Maguire who used to be in Billy Elliott the Musical and also won an Olivier award.

Massive fan of The Who.

Trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

Gave stage debut at Guilford's Civic Hall aged "about 9" in a pantomime production of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood as one of the babes. Stole all the lines of the other babe.

Wrote two songs for Julie Atherton's CD Rush of Life and shared lead vocals with her on the track Your Body. His other song Trail of Behaviour featured John Dagleish.
