12 years ago, Anand L Rai brought a Tamilian boy who conquered the hearts of the Hindi audiences with his performance as Kundan in the romantic drama film and became Raanjhanaa.

Dhanush, who first collaborated with Anand L Rai for Raanjhanaa and then for Atrangi Re, starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, is now joining hands with the director for his 3rd collaboration, and the film is titled “Tere Ishk Mein.“

An eight-part crime drama based on true events, “Poacher,” which bowed at Sundance 2023, uncovers the largest ivory poaching ring in Indian history. It is produced by QC Entertainment, the Oscar-winning production and finance company known for Jordan Peele’s “Get Out” and Spike Lee’s “BlacKkKlansman.” Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew and Dibyendu Bhattacharya lead the cast.

Bollywood diva Sara Ali Khan penned a heartwarming note for Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and filmmaker Aanand L Rai as the romantic fantasy drama ‘Atrangi Re’ has completed two years of its release, calling it ‘divine’.

Directed by Aanand, ‘Atrangi Re’ revolves around the story of a girl named Rinku (Sara) who is in love with a magician named Sajjad (Akshay). Dhanush plays the character of Dr Vishu, with whom Rinku gets forcefully married.

On the second anniversary of the film’s release, Sara dropped some unseen photos from the shoot of the movie, which shows her transformation into a girl from Bihar. The string of photos also shows the ‘Kedarnath’ actress posing with the leading men of the movie-Akshay and Dhanush.

It is now coming back again — not with a similar story, but with a “similar heartbeat”, as Rai put it in an interview with ‘Variety’ — in “Tere Ishk Mein.”

Mumbai, May 15 (Ians) Sara Ali Khan believes that the relatability of her characters comes from the fact that she strongly relates with the pulse of her country and enjoys being “an Indian desi girl.”

Her girl-next-door avatar has always been a fan favourite and once again she will be seen playing a young middle-class woman opposite Vicky Kaushal in the forthcoming Laxman Utekar directorial ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’.

When asked if she opts for such roles only to gain an edge over otrher actors, Sara Ali Khan said: “I don’t know if it’s about gaining an edge, but the truth is that I think I really relate very strongly with the pulse of my country.

“I have grown up thinking of myself as just another Indian desi girl from Juhu, who lives with her mama, and doesn’t really have any frills and fancies, and filmy friends, to be honest with you.

Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, who is known for her work in ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Simmba’, ‘Atrangi Re’ and others, has wrapped up the first schedule of her upcoming film ‘Murder Mubarak’.

India’s Super Cassettes Industries, operating under the label T-Series, has revealed plans for a 100-film slate across various Indian languages.

The company was founded by the late Gulshan Kumar in 1983 as a music business. He soon grew it into India’s biggest music label. Bhushan Kumar took over as chair and MD of the company in 1997. T-Series has been producing or co-producing films since 1990, but is now poised for a huge push into the space with a range of films featuring A-listers. The company’s latest film, “Jhund,” starring Amitabh Bachchan, is currently on theatrical release.
