Jay North, the former child star who became a household name in the 1950s, has died at age 73. North is best known for portraying Dennis Mitchell in the 1959 sitcom Dennis the Menace. His co-star, Jeannie Russell, who played Margaret Wade, confirmed the news of his passing to The Hollywood Reporter. The former actor died in Lake Butler, Florida, on April 6, 2025, following a battle with colon cancer. According to TV Line, North's character, Dennis, might've had heart eyes for Russell's character, Margaret, but off-screen, to Russell, he was her "otherwordly brother." His last on-screen appearance came in a 2003 production called Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, as himself.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth concludes around the same point as the original Final Fantasy 7 completed Disc 1. Many of the game's Disc 1 bosses have made an appearance in Remake and Rebirth, alongside a host of newly designed boss fights. Final Fantasy 7 Disc 2 has only half the number of boss fights as in Disc 1, and Disc 3 has even less, seeing as it only covers the second trip to Northern Crater. However, there are still a number of battles that must be included in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3.
It is unlikely that Square Enix will develop boss fights like-for-like, but there are certain aspects from the following battles that should be included in whatever adapted version of the boss Part 3 decides to include. Be it hilarious fight conclusions, the importance of a character's journey, or paying homage to the original, there are a number of bosses that desperately need to have...

Leave It to Beaver was a groundbreaking sitcom from the 1950s, setting the stage for future family-friendly series. Key cast members, like Jerry Mathers (Beaver) and Tony Dow (Wally), found continued success in TV after the show. Some cast members, like Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskell), struggled with typecasting but later found success in other shows.
Remembered as one of the seminal sitcoms from the early days of television, the Leave It to Beaver cast had a massive impact on popular culture. The show aired for six seasons starting in 1957, and it became a cultural touchstone for the late-'50 and early-'60s. Though incredibly simplistic compared to modern sitcoms, Leave It to Beaver blazed the trail for the genre and was often imitated in the ensuing decades. A true syndication hit, the series found its greatest popularity when it began to play in syndication.

In a tribute to Sin City, Orville Peck and Beck perform back-to-back on a roulette wheel and rope in Sharon Stone for a glitzy Casino callback in the music video for their duet “Death Valley High.”
The clip even opens with the words “Peck Beck” in lights, paying tribute to Elvis Presley’s ’68 comeback special. The song, which will appear on Peck’s upcoming Stampede album when it arrives next month, also bears a jaunty resemblance to Presley’s “Viva Las Vegas,” though the King could never rap like Beck.

On an otherwise uneventful Friday evening, about 95 million people watched a white Ford Bronco slowly driving down the 5 freeway.
The driver of the car, of course, was O.J. Simpson, the NFL star turned actor and TV broadcaster, and that day he officially was named as a murder suspect in the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
America was glued to their TV sets, with the broadcast networks breaking into their regular programing, and the lone cable news channel CNN having its star host Larry King guide viewers through the action (watch it here).
The chase and subsequent trial (“The Trial of the Century,” as declared by multiple news outlets), with its live cameras in the courtroom, became gripping must-see TV. The not-guilty verdict — handed down at 10 a.m. on a weekday — was watched live by more than 150 million people (on day one of the 1991 Gulf War,...

Cid's reappearance in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is confirmed, suggesting he may become a playable character. The reveal of Cid in the game's trailer was underwhelming despite his importance to the story. Cid's updated design in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a great overhaul and is finally lore appropriate.
The revelation of Cid Highwind in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth occurred in the weirdest way possible. Cid is a classic character from the original Final Fantasy 7 who is making a revamped reappearance in the upcoming sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake. In the original title, Cid Highwind is an ex-Shinra engineer who lives in Rocket Town and defies his previous employers. His most notable contribution is lending the Tiny Bronco plane to the party so that they can traverse Midgar. He is unlockable as a playable character.

It’s highly unlikely anyone can say they got their start in showbiz by drinking kombucha — anyone that is, except Brittany Broksi.
The Texas native, whose legal name is Brittany Tomlinson, first became an Internet sensation when a video of her trying kombucha for the first time went viral in 2019. In 21 seconds, she experienced every range of emotion and gave audiences their first introduction to a now beloved internet personality. But at the time, Broski tells Rolling Stone that it was one of the most humiliating moments of her life.

Country singer Orville Peck has been redefining the heteronormative genre with his flair for fashion, hypnotic vocals, and superb showmanship. And now, he’s ramping us all up for his sophomore album Bronco, set to be released April 8th, 2022. The Elephant In the Room: Let’s Talk About the Mask Although there have been hundreds of speculations, Peck has never publicly shared his identity: The 30-some-odd-year-old has only been seen wearing different variations of a fringed mask that leaves audiences dazzled by the mystery. When asked about this choice for anonymity, Peck told GQ, “The only reason I don’t talk about it in depth is not because I want to dodge any questions, but because I want people to have their own take on it… I don’t want to lay it out and pin it down.

Hulu has released the trailer for John Bronco. Walton Goggins stars as John Bronco, the greatest pitchman to ever live. The mockumentary is all set to premiere October 15th, exclusively on Hulu. The trailer has Goggins cranked up to eleven as a Burt Reynolds mixed with a used car salesman-type of character as he goes around racing cars, riding horses, and creating products with his face on them.
Some have said that if you were famous before the internet, you might as well never have existed. Such is the case for John Bronco, the greatest pitchman who ever lived. In 1966, Ford tapped him to race their new prototype SUV at the Baja 500 in Mexico. Not only did he win, but he gave a rousing speech that rallied a nation. Legend has it that Ford named the new car "Bronco" after John, made him the face of their campaign and skyrocketed him to stardom.

Ford Motor Co. and the Walt Disney Co. have made a precedent-setting deal for a “roadblock” across all of Disney’s broadcast, cable, digital and streaming channels in prime time to unveil the new Bronco.
On July 13, starting at 8Pm Et, Ford will introduce the new Bronco lineup across Disney platforms. Three custom, 3-minute films will air on ABC, ESPN and National Geographic, in each network’s first commercial break. All three pieces will be made available on demand on Hulu the next day.
Synergy is certainly nothing new for Disney, and the releases of last year’s Star Wars installment and Frozen II saw a high degree of co-ordination among Disney division. But this is the first time the “road block,” an invention used for decades by marketers, is being mobilized for a product reveal on Disney channels.

Are you ready? Never mind. You are not. There is simply no way you could be prepared for the hilarity that ensued when Schitt’s Creek scene stealer Annie Murphy dropped by The Kelly Clarkson Show — and was joined by its Grammy-winning host on a recreation of her character’s Britney-esque single, “A Little Bit Alexis.”
In a clip from Thursday’s episode, Clarkson laughingly tells her guest, “I hope I remember this” as Murphy, perfectly straight-faced, launches into the song and choreography. After she performs a verse, the Voice coach enters the spotlight, Kelly-izing the lyrics that Schittheads know and love.

“Puff” boasts a dusty drum beat that skitters beneath a funked-out mix of gauzy synths and guttural bass. The track builds to a literal climax as Tyler threads the beat with a drawn-out coital moan, before it closes with the cheeky Golf Radio announcement that also wrapped the original version of the track.

Maybe it really is a privilege to perform jury duty.
Late night hosts and social media users alike were enthused over news that special counsel Robert Mueller has reportedly convened a grand jury in his investigation into Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election.
