During a recent American Idol episode, Carrie Underwood didn’t hesitate to roast her co-star.

She joined Season 23 as a judge to replace fellow singer Katy Perry, who left for her world tour and travel to space in a historic Blue Origin flight.

Carrie has received plenty of backlash and criticism upon joining due to her inauguration performance earlier this year.

Some critics have also called out the Season 4 winner for her unrecognizable appearance amid potential cosmetic surgery upgrades.

Many fans also still support the Idol star and enjoy seeing what she brings to the singing competition show each week.

During one episode, she and her co-stars, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, had a brief exchange about their music, and Carrie quickly shot down one of them as far as a musician.

Chicago – Oscar winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arawaka were found dead in their New Mexico home on February 26th. Arawaka died of a rare lung infection, the 95-year-old Hackman succumbed to natural causes. Photographer Joe Arce captured this Exclusive Portrait of Hackman in 2000.

The mystery and circumstances surrounding the couple’s death stayed in the headlines for weeks. They both had been deceased for several days before being discovered, and at first is was speculated that carbon monoxide poisoning might have been the culprit. But as the investigation continued, it was determined that Ms. Arawaka had died first on or around February 11th of a rare lung infection, and Hackman … suffering from Alzheimer’s disease … died one week later.

Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa have been found dead at their home in the US, according to local law enforcement.

Hackman was 95 and his wife was 63. No cause of death has been given but there was no indication of foul play.

A statement from the Santa Fe County Sheriff in New Mexico said: “We can confirm that both Gene Hackman and his wife were found deceased Wednesday afternoon at their residence on Sunset Trail.

“This is an active investigation - however, at this time we do not believe that foul play was a factor.”

One of the best branches to extend out of the Jurassic World franchise has been the hit animated series about six campers stranded on a dino-infested island. Not only did Camp Cretaceous neatly tie itself to the larger franchise, but it helped redeem several storylines and characters who didnt have their due time in the spotlight. Now, like its predecessor, Chaos Theory continues to tell the tales of the Nublar Sixs epic adventure as the true heroes of an extinct species.

Its safe to say that Chaos Theory started with a dark tone, and as the story progressed, the viewers learned that there was something far more sinister at play. As the stakes got higher, so did the fear factor, and Season 2 definitely lived up to the franchises knack for dino jumpscares.

“Twisters” director Lee Isaac Chung wanted to capture the spirit and culture of storm trackers, whose profession requires a great deal of time in cars and trucks.

“Everybody I talked to in Oklahoma who chases, music is such an integral part of it,” said Chung when he was a recent guest on IndieWire’s Toolkit podcast. “Anytime I’d ask, ‘What’s on your playlist?’ you’d see them break into a smile, and everybody has a different music choice.”

In the Chung household, there is a rule: Whoever is driving picks the music. On “Twisters,” director Chung drove the proverbial train, and the country music lover got to build his dream soundtrack. For a film that takes part mostly on dirt roads in rural areas of Oklahoma, with characters driving into storms when most sane people are headed in the other direction, an outlaw country music sound also made sense.

Despite plastic surgery rumours, the singer, 73, shared his best anti-aging practices with the Daily Mail, taking cosmetic surgery right off the table.

“That s**t goes wrong!” he joked, seemingly claiming he’s never gone under the knife to enhance his face.

“[Plastic surgery] locks you in for that year [while you recover] and after that, you can’t go naturally, you’re staying right there … You try and go back to reset, and you can’t,” he said.

Following Sunday’s new episode of “Idol,” Seacrest spoke with Et’s Denny Directo, and explained how quickly the high-profile cameos came together.

“I have to tell you, I was driving in and my phone rings and it’s the executive producer and she says, ‘Well, we’ve got some news,'” Seacrest shared. “I thought maybe something happened [with a contestant]. She said, ‘Well, the king and the queen are going to make an appearance!'”

“I said, ‘This is so great. How?’ ‘Well I don’t know. They’re just gonna figure it out when Lionel and Katy are in some room in Windsor Castle,'” Seacrest continued, referring to “Idol” judges Lionel Richie and Katy Perry, who are in England after performing at the Coronation Concert.

Sunday night’s all-new “American Idol” saw a newly crowned King Charles III and Queen Camilla give a royal surprise to audiences from across the pond with judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.

Charles and Camila’s surprise appearance on the long-running singing competition series came at the start of Sunday’s show and just hours after both Perry and Richie performed at the king’s coronation concert at Windsor Castle.

On Sunday, the “American Idol” judge took the stage for a performance in honor of the new king at Windsor Castle. For his set, Richie kicked things off with “Easy (Like Sunday Morning).”

Sitting at the piano, Richie got the audience singing along as they waved their hands and lit up phones from side to side.

He then got them on their feet with his upbeat hit, “All Night Long.” It was obvious that the royal family was happy to have the “Hello” singer there as they sang along to his songs, with Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s children, George and Charlotte, waving little union jack flags in excitement and Charles himself showing off some of his dance moves.

And so was born Catch My Soul, the Othello story moved to a dusty New Mexico commune with Woodstock sensation Richie Havens as the doomed moor. It was McGoohan’s first and only feature length directorial effort, due, perhaps, to the absolutely abysmal reviews. It was a uniquely filmed, stealth hour that centered the characters in a way the series needed.

"All Night Long" provided us with these tidbits of insight into these characters we love while also giving us a fun backdrop and the friendships we deserved and craved. Then, by the end of New Amsterdam Season 4 Episode 16, they walloped us with a shocker that has us counting down the seconds until its continuation.

TV veteran actor Néstor Carbonell was back to direct a great hour of New Amsterdam, and from that standpoint alone, it was a complex, fascinating experience.

Nestor Carbonell stops by New Amsterdam for the second time in Season 4 to direct, but this time, it’s a very different type of medical drama episode. In “All Night Long,” the team goes out for a night of karaoke and drinking … and then must face the consequences. While it is a departure, we do see them at work, like Dr. Iggy Frome (Tyler Labine) helping a patient confront a past trauma, and dealing with personal problems, like Dr. Floyd Reynolds (Jocko Sims) and Dr. Lyn Malvo (Frances Turner) discussing their future. Carbonell takes us inside directing the hour. You directed an episode earlier in the season, but that one was a bit more straightforward. Lionel Richie has been named as the recipient of this year’s Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, the Library of Congress announced Thursday, with an all-star tribute concert set to be filmed in March and aired on PBS in May.

“In so many ways, this national honor was made for Lionel Richie, whose music has entertained and inspired us— and helped strengthen our global connections,” said Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden in a statement. “Lionel Richie’s unforgettable work has shown us that music can bring us together. Even when we face problems and disagree on issues, songs can show us what we have in common.”

The tribute concert will take place in Washington, D.C., on March 9 and broadcast on PBS stations May 17 at 9 p.m. Et.
