Unpolished, haunting pace. It both saddens and evokes a painfully warm smile in the wry corner of my mouth. Well above a bad work, it contains the essence of a film. It captivate and transform the beholder. I found it a good film. It Left an undoubted impact in the Australian film land-escape. Although without a film education, I have not heard of the director.

Slow moments of street singing. Praising has never been so horrible. The dry wrenching scene of talking in tongues with a curious island of sanity within brought laughter and tears to my eyes. The concept of time was a deep theme in the movie. A disrespect for the preciousness of life, as scenes are repeated, silences drawn out, speech slowed to the duration of an eternal yawn. Never has a short film seems so long, and yet I loved it. And a note for pop film nation, why must we have sound tracks, there are not enough empty scenes with the cackling of crows in yonder set. Six stars
