The Flash family is one of the largest and most tight-knit familial units in the DC Universe, due in large part to the extensive lineage of Barry Allen. Family is an essential theme in the Flash's lore, seeing as every relative is connected by the unseen Speed Force that flows through them just as their shared blood does.

While some relations between the Flash family's members are obvious, such as that of Wally West and his biological children, others are a bit more difficult to parse without in-depth explanation. Hill Harper was born on May 17, 1966 (Hill Harper: Age 56) in Iowa City, Iowa to Harry and Marilyn Harper. Harper’s full name is Frank Eugene “Hill” Harper but he goes by Hill as a tribute to his grandparents. Harper started acting at seven years old.

In 1984 Harper graduated from Bella Vista High School. He went on to graduate from Brown University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and sociology. In 1992 he graduated from Harvard Law School and received his Master of Public Administration degree.

Former James Bond actor will receive the European Achievement in World Cinema award.

In recognition of an extensive career both in front of the camera and behind the scenes as a producer, the European Film Academy will this year present Pierce Brosnan with its honorary European Achievement in World Cinema award.

He will be a guest at the 29th European Film Awards Ceremony on December 10 in Wroclaw.

Brosnan’s numerous film credits include The Thomas Crown Affair (1999), The Matador (2005), Mamma Mia! (2008), The Ghost Writer (2010) and The November Man (2014).

From 1995 to 2002, he starred as James Bond in Golden Eye, Tomorrow Never Dies (for which he received an Efa nomination), The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.

I interviewed Pierce Brosnan in conjunction with his third outing as James Bond, in Michael Apted's The World Is Not Enough, in 1999. Brosnan was alternately charming, erudite, thoughtful and intense during our two hour chat. His native intelligence shone through it all, as did a sense of decency which many people seem to acquire after enduring and surviving hardship in their formative years.

Grand Pictures has announced details of a new 6 x half hour comedy series 'Val Falvey, T.D.' Written by Arthur Mathews (Father Ted) and Paul Woodfull (Stew) and directed by Pj Dillon (Stew), the series stars Ardal O'Hanlon (Father Ted) and Owen Roe (Alarm). Supporting cast includes Amelia Crowley (The Wake Wood), Phelim Drew (The Nephew), Simon Delaney (Bachelors Walk) and Brendan Dempsey (The Revenge of Alistair Fury).
