Der Ochse von Kulm

I find that East Germany managed to perfect over time the balance of comedy procedurals, this film made me laugh and i felt truley like the chatacters were real. Everyone should watch this film. In the beginning it has that cosy feel that all black and white films have that just makes you feel like its sunday and you want a cup of tea, and when it really gets going it maintains a strangely more modern feel to it. The ox was a paid actor 😹 i loved every scene with him in and it makes me want an ox now too. Out of all my top favourite movies from the deutsche demokratische republik, this is in top 5.
