I saw this film at the Cinequest Film Festival last week. It was terrible. They obviously learned a lot of things. They learned a lot of camera swivels and such but it didn't work. It was trying too hard. I felt disconnected from the film. I didn't care about the characters. It wasn't funny. I didn't feel the drama. No one really had a moment. I didn't feel for anyone. The filmmakers enthusiasm was there, but the choices didn't work for the story. These people are going to get better, they seem to have observed a lot of films. But I don't want to notice the camera so much. I want to be moved and so absorbed in the story that I don't think about how they are trying to manipulate my senses and feelings. The highlight of the whole screening was the score. I really liked the music, though it didn't seem right for the story. It had a grand feel to it, dramatic and very nice--but it just didn't work for the story. Good luck filmmakers--hope to see a better movie next time!

This is one of the most under-rated films I have ever seen. I can't wait until it gets released on DVD this fall and audiences everywhere can sit back and enjoy this picture. The performances are amazing and the film is so stylistically directed.
There are haters out there who write spiteful comments about this film and play silly games like: vote a hundred times on this film to keep the numbers low. They know who they are and they know that they got nothing'. They're small, jealous, hacks that also KNOW they will never work in Hollywood and it eats them up to the core that this film is so good. It also kills them that they put their heads on their pillows each night, knowing they are untalented amateurs who are destined for mediocrity. You see, at best, they will maybe --MAYBE --produce some garden-variety, crappy cable-access show in their mother's basement in 'Jersey, or whatever other low-rent snake-hole they slithered out of. Badda Bing!

I saw this film at a festival in Miami and was blown away by the honest portrayal of a feud spun completely out of control. The cast did a fantastic job. I was especially impressed by JoJo Henrickson as Pete. His mix of drama and humor drew me in. Also, kudos to Angie Lucia as Marioli. She broke my heart.
I must say, I thought the movie was going in a completely different direction after the opening voice over. While expecting a stereotypical, even campy story I was pleasantly surprised when it took a more human direction and explored the complex relationships between family and friends who are probably closer than even the brothers in the story.
Another facet of the movie which surprised me was the non-linear way in which the story is told. At times, you're in a flashback-within-a-flashback-within-a-flashback. Amazingly, it was not confusing at all and I followed the story to its climactic (dare I say inevitable?) end. Congratulations to director Joe Menendez for making such a heartfelt piece. His craft is on the rise and we should see great things from him in the future.
In all, this was the best indie film I've seen in quite a while. Definitely worth checking out.

Wrong Wrong Wrong you got it wrong and missed the message.
Excellent film, it has its flaws, but I understood the message. The movie starts out without all the stupid credits at the beginning, but with a great music score. The cast is just perfect. You see the film and at the end you are crying your eyes out with the rest of the audience. The relationship with the two brothers is one that almost everyone can relate too. Who are these great actors? WOW!!! I hope the director send this film to Sundance.
