Best game of 2005!

Metal Gear Solid 3 is like a movie.. a movie.. with very very long cutscenes. Normally this would be HORRIBLE, but Hideo Kojima's direction is enough to make the cutscenes seem cinematic enough for Hollywood.

The game itself, well, the graphics are excellent, the music and voice acting is great, the cinematics are well-directed, the boss battles are amazing and the game is FUN. There is so much replay value in this that I've played through it 3 times already and I'm still amazed with it.

Let's just hope MGS4 is even better.

After the release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001), Hideo Kojima said that he would not direct this game. He wanted a member of his team at Konami to replace him, but none of them wanted to, so he was forced to change his mind and direct after all.
