Hutch is officially back in the new poster for Nobody 2, and yes, he has the kitty cat bracelet.

In the new official poster, provided by @NobodyMovie on X, Bob Odenkirk's Hutch is wearing a Hawaiian shirt and, in a hilarious nod to the previous film, is also wearing a Kitty cat bracelet. According to Bleeding Cool News, Universal unveiled the new poster for the highly anticipated sequel before their presentation at CinemaCon. Nobody was one of 2021's biggest surprises, with a solid box office haul of $57.5 million worldwide, and it received its fair share of positive reviews. Nobody earned an 84% Rotten Tomatoes score and showed that Odenkirk could pull off John Wick-style action sequences just as well as he can make audiences laugh. What is Nobody 2 About?...

Nearly three years ago, it was announced that Timo Tjahjanto (The Shadow Strays, V/H/S/94) had been enlisted to helm the remake of South Korean zombie epic Train to Busan for New Line Cinema, titled The Last Train to New York before being pulled from the schedule. The filmmaker recently gave an update on the film’s status.

When asked by a fan on X whether the director was still attached to the project, Tjahjanto replied “I’ve been ready since 2020, but when a film is stalled that’s not up to the director.”

The Last Train to New York was initially dated for theatrical release on April 21, 2023 before being temporarily un-dated in 2022. This is the first update, though not much of one, since the news that the remake was being pulled from the release slate.

Per Deadline, Monroe is set to star in Brides, a horror film written and directed by Okuno. Longlegs distributor, Neon, plans to release the movie theatrically. Exclusive: Following the success of the summer hit Longlegs, Neon and Maika Monroe have found their next thriller to team on as the studio has has acquired the North American rights to Watcher director Chloe Okuno’s Brides starring Monroe. The film marks the third collaboration for Neonand Monroe and the pic will be produced by Anthony Bregman and Stefanie Azpiazu through Likely Story. Pre-production is now underway, and it is set to begin shooting in March 2025. Neon will release the film theatrically.

Fresh out of New York Comic Con tonight, Shudder has officially announced that eighth franchise installment V/H/S/8 will be coming to the horror streaming service in 2025.

Created by Bloody Disgusting and Brad Miska, the found footage horror anthology franchise V/H/S kicked off in 2012 and has to date spawned six sequels including V/H/S/2, V/H/S: Viral, V/H/S/94, V/H/S/99 and V/H/S/85, and two spin-offs, Siren and Kids vs. Aliens.

Now streaming, Shudder just released V/H/S/Beyond this Halloween season.

With a strong cult following behind them, the V/H/S movies are a must-see for fans of anthology horror, but they're far from perfect. They fill a highly specific subgenre, which isn't for everyone, but is ideal for those seeking something a little different from a standard slasher or haunted house horror film. The Bloody Disgusting-produced V/H/S was released in 2012, alongside a handful of horror anthologies. Since then the V/H/S franchise has gained notoriety with horror fan circles as being a go-to for unforgettable if at times inconsistent frights.

Horror anthologies like The ABCs of Death and All Hallow's Eve all came out within a two-to-three-year period of 2012, but the V/H/S movies at their best are arguably a step above in terms of quality. The first two V/H/S sequels from 2013 and 2014 retain the overall structure of the first, while introducing new elements of their own. V/H/S/94 hit Shudder in 2021, with V/H/S 99 arriving one year later.

“Teacup,” Peacock’s new series executive produced by James Wan, is a tricky one to write about. Writer, producer, and showrunner Ian McCulloch (Yellowstone) draws very little from Robert McCammon’s Stinger, opting for a modern, minimalist interpretation of the horror western, one driven almost entirely by its central mystery. The eight-episode inaugural season is so structured around its enigmatic threat, purpose, methodology, and reach that “Teacup“ becomes a landmine of spoilers to dodge for the sake of preserving its many, many surprises. Filming for Bob Odenkirk's Nobody 2 is finally complete.

Director Timo Tjahjanto confirmed via Instagram that the sequel to Odenkirk's action film Nobody has wrapped filming, sharing photos of the movie's clapboard and him alongside the Better Call Saul star and stunt team. "The body is exhausted, yet the heart is full, the pride is humbled while the universe is expanding," the Indonesian filmmaker wrote in one post while praising Odenkirk in another, describing him as "one hell of an uncle."

A new trailer for the Shudder original film V/H/S/Beyond has been unleashed. This will be the seventh installment of the popular horror franchise, V/H/S, with V/H/S/Beyond all set to premiere on Friday, October 4th, just in time for Halloween. This time, the found footage anthology film will feature horror stories with sci-fi elements, and the trailer showcases everything from UFO sightings, alien abductions, and unexplainable phenomena, to grave encounters with strange creatures and infected humans. Shudder teased the new film in a press release saying this installment will feature six new bloodcurdling tapes, placing horror at the forefront of a sci-fi-inspired hellscape.

In my opinion, the "V/H/S" franchise has been consistently worthwhile ever since the first installment dropped in 2012. A horror anthology loosely based around the idea of found footage captured and/or broadcast on analog devices, the series eventually abandoned its attempts at building a sense of mythology and lore and focused on the real appeal of the franchise, which is acting as a showcase for a mixture of up-and-coming as well as established filmmakers in the indie horror world. Sure, its nature as an anthology means that not every segment is going to be everyone's bucket o' blood, and some installments have more duds than bangers. Yet I've found at least one segment in each "V/H/S" film to adore, and in most cases have found several.

The V/H/S franchise returned in 2023 with V/H/S/85, and viewers may have questions about the best way to watch the V/H/S movies in order. The films are a unique horror hybrid, combining a found footage template with a horror anthology storytelling format. In each V/H/S movie, the framing story involves one or more people discovering a collection of V/H/S tapes. Each depicts one of the horror movie shorts of the film, and each presents an unexplained, horrifying event while keeping its context a mystery.

V/H/S does not have a strict franchise continuity per se, due to the anthology approach of the series. However, the handful of spinoffs of V/H/S movies do establish what little continuity the franchise operates on through the stories they tell. Specifically, SiREN and Kids vs. Aliens serve up parallel narratives to the V/H/S franchise, connecting to the segments "Amateur Night" in V/H/S and "Slumber Party Alien Abduction" in V/H/S 99.

It's incredibly hard to keep a franchise fresh when it's been around for more than a decade headed into its seventh installment. But a couple of missteps aside, the "V/H/S" franchise has done a remarkable job of keeping things fresh over the years. I'm pleased as punch to report that "V/H/S/Beyond" isn't just taking the ball and running with it — it may well have set a new high bar for the series.

The seventh installment overall and the follow-up to last year's "V/H/S/85," this new entry takes things "Beyond" by giving every one of the six segments a sci-fi hook. Marrying sci-fi and horror has often yielded very satisfying results. Some of the all-time greats in the genre, such as John Carpenter's "The Thing" or Ridley Scott's "Alien," look to the horrors of science fiction to bring us something thrilling. Nobody 2 is now reloaded, cocked and shooting under the direction of Timo Tjahjanto, who is stepping in for the first film’s director, Ilya Naishuller. Bob Odenkirk returns as Hutch Mansell, the mild-manner family man who keeps his past as a government assassin under wraps. Connie Nielsen is also returning as Hutch’s wife, Becca, as well as Christopher Lloyd as Hutch’s father, a retired FBI agent. Perhaps most prominent among the list of names involved with this new entry is Mike Flanagan, the modern horror master whose credits include "The Haunting of Hill House," "Doctor Sleep," "Oculus," and the most recent "The Fall of the House of Usher." Flanagan isn't directing, though — instead, he wrote a segment that will be helmed by his wife Kate Siegel, who has appeared in the majority of Flanagan's films and TV shows.

Big news has been revealed for the sequel to Nobody. The film will be starting production this summer now that its director has been found, and it will be released on Aug. 15, 2025.

Earlier in June, there were reports that Nobody 2 was gearing up for a production starting in August, though a director still hadn't yet been named. Deadline has shared an update on the sequel by further confirming that the production is slated to begin in August. Also revealed is that Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto has signed on to direct the movie following previous reports that the first movie's director, Ilya Naishuller, would not be helming the second installment.

Bob Odenkirk is back for more “Nobody” — this time with a different director.

The sequel to the 2021 action thriller will be helmed by Timo Tjahjanto, the Indonesian director known for “The Night Comes for Us” and “May the Devil Take You,” as well as the horror thrillers “V/H/S/2” and “V/H/S/94.” Tjahjanto is also one half of the filmmaking duo the Mo Brothers, alongside Kimo Stamboel. Together, they have written and directed the films “Macabre,” “Killers” and “Headshot.”

From Universal Pictures, “Nobody 2” will begin production in August. It’s set to premiere Aug. 15, 2025. Sources say Connie Nielsen will return as Becca Mansell, the wife to Odenkirk’s lead. No other casting has been announced.

Rumors for a fourth Fear Street following the event release of three movies back in 2021 have been flying for what seems like years now. Finally, however, we’ve been getting bits and pieces of information about the fourth movie, which is currently beginning pre-production in Canada – we also know it’ll be adapting the 15th book from R.L Stine’s vast library.

Popularized around the early-to-mid-2000s, the style has a polarizing place in pop culture, with people both praising and deriding it.
