Just when you thought Valorant’s duelist meta couldn’t get any more chaotic, Riot Games drops a bombshell that has pros “sweating profusely” in disbelief. The competitive scene’s reaction to their latest teaser video looks like a mixture of Christmas morning excitement and the dawning horror of realizing what this means for their carefully practiced strategies.
From newest agent to old news in record time. | Image Credit: Riot Games
With Tejo barely settled into the roster after his January debut, players were expecting a breather before the next agent reveal. Instead, Riot has been quietly preparing to unleash what might be the most disruptive duelist yet—one that has pro players making some truly wild comparisons.
The reactions from the Masters Bangkok participants who got an early peek at Agent 28 suggest we’re not just getting another entry fragger—we’re potentially witnessing the birth of a meta-destroying monster.

Many are focusing on Drifter going off the grid as many are speculating that he is off to seek a group of powerful enigmatic entities, which would allow Bungie to continue the lore.

Bungie has confirmed its future plans, but fans believe that it will be a complete disaster if the studio doesn’t fix the existing issues in the game. Particularly due to content getting vaulted, players believe that the next saga would also have gaps in the storyline.

One of the biggest questions in battle shonen anime like Bleach is: how strong should the protagonist be? If the hero is not strong enough, then they cannot win any fights without serious contrivances, and their weakness may annoy the audience. Being too strong means the action star won't struggle in battle, and their victories won't feel earned or inspiring. Now, Bleach fans are encouraged to assess where Ichigo Kurosaki falls on that scale.
In many ways, the power scaling of Bleach was handled well, with the power levels of the Agent of the Shinigami arc giving way to shikai and bankai, followed by world-ending threats like Yhwach and the Schutzstaffel. Ichigo kept pace with all that power scaling in exciting and fun ways, but more and more, it became clear Ichigo had a little too much power, and Bleach resorted to weird ways to deal with that.

While some actors take on many roles out of passion for their craft, others occasionally accept projects simply as part of the job. Hugo Weaving, known for playing some of the most unforgettable characters in Hollywood, has always been praised for bringing power and depth to his performances.
His intense screen presence and deep voice have made him a natural fit for playing villains. That is exactly why he was chosen to voice Megatron in Michael Bay’s Transformers films.

Remember how, as recently as the end of last week’s Paradise episodes, we all thought Billy Pace was actually a stone cold killer? Well he is. But this week’s episode makes it clear that he’s not the presidential assassin we were led to believe killed Cal Bradford. He’s just a regular assassin. Good thing that air got cleared, eh? Because by the end of the hour, he’s dead.
Just in case you thought this show was done throwing twists at us, it lobs a tiny-but-fatal one at viewers — and poor Billy — in the episode’s final moments.

Netflix has recently canceled five original TV shows, including two live-action and three animated shows, sparking complaints from subscribers. Most of the canceled shows only made it to one season, which has been a consistent trend with Netflix's cancellations. The streaming service may be risking the potential growth of its shows by canceling them too soon, as many successful TV series took time to find their footing in later seasons.
Netflix has canceled a grand total of five original TV shows in one fell swoop, and it doubles down on one of the biggest complaints from the streaming service’s subscriber base. The streamer has canceled two live-action shows, Glamorous and Shadow and Bone, as well as three animated shows: Agent Elvis, Farzar, and Captain Fall. Shadow and Bone is a fantasy series based on the Y.A. books by Leigh Bardugo; it made it to two seasons before being canceled ahead of a third.

Netflix has pulled the plug on five shows at once, including two live-action shows and three adult animated comedies.
Per Deadline, Netflix has canceled Shadow and Bone, Glamorous, Agent Elvis, Farzar, and Captain Fall. Of the five shows to be canceled, only Shadow and Bone had reached its second season, and it won't be getting a third. The television show massacre follows major delays with writing and filming because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, which are said to have contributed to the cancelations. The report also noted that more cancelations across the board from different networks and streamers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, given how the release schedules are still under examination after the strikes.

In a recent episode of Loki season 2, Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes travel to 1863 Chicago. There, they find a young boy and give him a Tva handbook written by Ke Huy Quan’s Tva technician, Ouroboros. The next time we see that boy in 1893, he’s a man going by the name of Victor Timely who has studied the details of that book and is now able to invent the contraptions inside it, including the temporal loom that will become the center of the Tva.
This, of course, raises a question. Who really started the Tva? We’ve been told that the Tva was founded by He Who Remains, the man who Victor Timely will become. But now Loki shows that Victor/Hwr got the idea for the Tva from Ob’s book. How can He Who Remains be both the inspiration and be inspired?
The answer, of course, is time travel.

Many fans know Flash Thompson as Peter Parker's primary bully, but his time as Agent Venom is so memorable it's still being cosplayed. Flash's character shifted once more when he became Anti-Venom, adding to Marvel's broad symbiote lore. Despite Agent Venom's general absence from recent Marvel Comics events, he is still a very popular symbiote iteration.
While Eugene "Flash" Thompson debuted at the same time as Spider-Man in Amazing Fantasy #15 in 1962, his time as Venom began much later.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in the middle of its television golden age thanks to Disney+ series like Moon Knight, WandaVision, and Loki, which is about to begin airing its second season. However, many fans are familiar with an age of Marvel television long ago that featured often-forgotten series like ABC's Agent Carter.
In its short two-season run, Agent Carter featured never-before-seen missions from Hayley Atwell's Agent Peggy Carter. She wasn't alone in her adventures, however, as she was joined by a colorful cast of friends and foes who many Marvel fans still fondly remember.

The former ABC president believes Agent Carter would have worked better today. Before Disney+'s current Marvel Cinematic Universe shows, there was the original Marvel TV era. From 2010 up until 2019, Marvel television hosted several shows across ABC, Netflix, and Hulu. But Marvel TV was ultimately absorbed into Marvel Studios as part of Kevin Feige's responsibilities.
Agent Carter was one of ABC's few Marvel TV shows that lasted for only two seasons. However, former ABC president Paul Lee believes it would have done better today. In a new interview with The Wrap, Lee expressed his optimism for Agent Carter if it existed today. Because of how interconnected MCU films and shows are now, Lee shared the following:
Look, structurally, don’t forget, it was at a time when Marvel movies and Marvel TV were separated. So I think one of the reasons it would do better today is that the platform is used to it.

One of The Night Agent's biggest twists was in the reveal of Diane Farr's function as the mole, which begs the question as to why she really hired Peter Sutherland for the Night Action program in the first place. Gabriel Basso's Peter Sutherland does indeed retain the attributes for the ideal agent to cover top-secret, high-level government initiatives. His knack for heroism is proven with his dedication to the protection of crime witness Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan), and his loyalty to upholding the constructs of justice shines throughout the events of the Netflix action thriller series.
Peter's devotion to maintaining the morally good leads him to the lap of mole Diane Farr (Hong Chau) shortly after the incident of the Metro bombing. Spoilers for "The Night Agent" follow.
"The Night Agent" proved to be a success for Netflix, so it's no surprise the platform has renewed the political thriller for a second season. Adapted from a novel by Matthew Quirk, "The Night Agent" follows FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso). He works in the White House's basement, and every shift, he sits next to a phone, waiting for calls from "Night Action" agents in case of an emergency. Peter's first call comes from Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan), a niece of two Night Action agents. Rose narrowly escaped a home invasion that claimed her aunt and uncle's lives; she and Peter get thrown into a conspiracy that goes up to the Oval Office.
Quirk's novel was a standalone story, but the series had a more open ending — the creators were aware more seasons were on the table. After preventing the assassination of President...

Why do so many child actors struggle? To be a good actor, you need self-awareness and empathy, and those are traits many children don't have. This makes Isabelle Fuhrman's performance in Jaume Collet-Serra's "Orphan" all the more exceptional.
In "Orphan," a Connecticut couple -- Kate (Vera Farmiga) and John (Peter Sarsgaard) -- is still reeling from the miscarriage of their third child. So, they decide to adopt. They're instantly charmed by a young Estonian girl named Esther (Fuhrman) and welcome her into their home. But Esther shows increasing sadism, culminating in the horrible truth: she's actually a 33-year-old serial killer, afflicted with hypopituitarism that prevented her body from aging with her mind.
"Orphan" -- released in 2009 -- was shot in late 2007 when Fuhrman was only 10 years old. In what was her second film appearance, she was a child playing the part of an adult who is playing the part of a child.

When a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan considers the deadliest villain in the Tmnt’s rogues’ gallery, it is likely they think of the Shredder, though there is one other villain who has a nearly identical origin to that of the Shredder, but who proved to be far deadlier–and he was created totally by accident.
Oroku Saki aka the Shredder was the Tmnt’s first villain in terms of their publication history, which also made him their most iconic. However, in the current continuity of Idw Publishing’s Tmnt, the Shredder would have been nothing without another classic Tmnt villain backing him: Krang. Krang is an Utrom from Dimension X who brought the infamous mutagen ooze from his world to Earth, and even gave some canisters of the substance to Shredder to strengthen his army. Before their inevitable falling-out, Krang and Shredder planned to take over the world together.

Marvel's Summer of Symbiotes approaches, as Venom's extended family prepare to overrun comic shelves everywhere. However, their most bizarre new target is one no-one expected - Marvel's iconic '90s swimsuit special, which showcased a range of heroes flexing in their best beachwear.
Marvel's promotional wraparound advertisement from Philip Tan, Scott Williams, and Brad Anderson pays homage to what came before yet finds the symbiotes assembled several light years away on an alien world. Featured on the sneak peek cover are Scream, Black Cat, Red Goblin, Carnage, Agent Venom, Sleeper, a non-Symbiote Eddie Brock, and a host of other Klyntar heroes, villains, and antiheroes. Even Jeff the Land Shark makes a subtle appearance.
