You Carry Me" interlace perfectly three histories of three different characters that are deeply marked by their fathers. You could see the three histories in different moments, like three short films, but the way in that they are included in only one feature film gives to this one more strength and it produces that during the two hours and half of film is not boring and it doesn't look like if it's too long. In all the film, this one makes you feel from happiness to sadness for what the characters lives but too hope and hate for what they make and think in different situations.
This film is similar to De tu ventana a la mía" of Paula Ortiz, in both we find three histories about three women fighters but in the case of You Carry Me" these womens aren't only in one situation that they have to fight but also they have to learn to coexist with their respectively fathers that, in one or other way and in different moment of the life, they are going to mark their lives.
In conclusion, You Carry Me" is a great film that i recommend to all the fans of drama films, even if you don't like this kind of film like me, i recommend you this film because this could surprise you.

I was lucky to had the chance to watch this movie during my trip to Zagreb, amazingly enough Zagreb's movie theater had English subtitles so foreigners and tourist like me where able to enjoy this great movie. The astonishing thing about the stories in this movie is that they are so relateable to everyone, in one way or in the other we have experienced what the characters experience. You carry me characters makes you live the story with them, they make you feel what they feel, this movie gives you an (positive) emotional roller coaster. It is incredible how captured you get by the story, how you live every moment with the characters. It is one of the better movies I have seen lately, and I truly hope that everyone who will have the chance will go to the Cinema and enjoy it as much as I did.

I really liked it. Although my first thought was it is rather long, I read some great critics on several of my favorite sites so I decided to give it a try. 155 minutes just passed by without me noticing it. It is not heart-braking drama with cheesy happy end. It has a kind of happy end, but in a rather realistic way. It's a movie you have to think about, where you put yourself in someone's else's shoes. It speaks about the need to be loved as we are, but at the same time we want to change the others, not willing to change ourselves. Really worth seeing.

I had the chance to watch this movie during my vacation in Croatia at the Pula Film Festival. I usually don't watch many foreign movies, but i was surely amazed by this one. I loved the strong female characters, and enjoyed the father - daughter theme. My favorite characters and relationship in the movie was the one between Ives and her father. The movie is stuck in my head even now, a month later after I have seen it, I still get the chills remembering some scenes that i don't want to spoil to the others. I can only recommend to go and watch this movie, you will love it.
While reading the other comments, I noticed that people were bothered by the length of the movie, in my opinion that is something ridiculous to complain about, those two hours flew by so fast cause you were captured by the movie so much that you didn't notices the time. Saying you don't want to watch this movie cause is too long is like saying you don't want to read a book that has more than 100 pages. Despite the length you should give this movie a chance. You definitely will not regret it.

First I have to say I watched the film at Pula film festival. When they say Under the stars" it really means under the stars. I always loved watching film on the open, but Pula's Arena is gorgeous. (My fist time there, so maybe it shows a little ) The ambiance is totally great. Antient roman amphitheater, warm summer night, giant screen... Great! It is a such a great place for films. I think I found a right place for this fabulous movie. Several thousand people enyojed the film with me. Presentation was short (that is always good) and after that we just immerged into stories. I loved it, and people around me loved it. Six times!!!! the spontaneous applause boursted out. It was like the crows could not wait for the end to show their enthusisam. The atmosphere was really special. Some special vibe flew above roman theater. Eerybody found a peace for themselves. The film is great. It's strong. It holds on you. I'm really happy I was a part of that.
