A Fantastic Relationship is about two very dysfunctional people who are terrible for each other but get stuck in a weird symbiotic partnership after breaking up.
Sounds dramatic but don't be fooled. This is mainly a pure comedy film. The film is over the top and unpredictable and turns a very straightforward premise into anything but.
The two leads pull off a (faded) love hate relationship with painful authenticity while the talented ensemble cast of absurd co stars create constant humorous obstacles for them to overcome.
No dull sentiment or try hard Hollywood BS to be found. Just lulz.
If you want real comedy, look no further.
Ten stars for a fresh original perspective.

I've followed Bridge's work on YouTube for years and I was worried his humor wouldn't work in a longer format. The opposite was true.
This film is excellent. Somehow both hilarious but realistic dialogue that has depth. The pacing all the way down to each scene was so good.
I was so impressed by the acting as well. Bridge is always great on YouTube but Nikki was a perfect match with him. They both have a timing and way of reacting to each other in scenes that can't be taught. That being said if the supporting cast wasn't as good as they were the movie wouldn't work.
Really really impressed. Bridge is a true filmmaker and I hope he gets more opportunities to let his writing/direction and acting shine in this longer format.

What you get when two people are on separate pages.
Unpredictable Humor: The film's fast-paced, joke-heavy script leans on awkward situational comedy
Strong Leads: The chemistry between Brian and Katie is a highlight, with their love-hate dynamic described as convincing and emotionally resonant.
Thematic Depth: Beneath the comedy, Stuart weaves a "warm reflection on human vulnerability and the need for self-acceptance," adding depth.
Post-Breakup Dynamics: The film explores the awkwardness, unresolved feelings, and complex interactions that can occur between ex-partners, including jealousy, lingering affection, and passive aggression.
Family Expectations and Sibling Rivalry: The pressure to impress a more successful family member (Katie's sister) drives the central conflict and brings themes of sibling rivalry and the desire for perceived success to the forefront.
Authenticity vs. Deception: The characters' struggle to maintain a deceptive facade while dealing with their genuine emotions raises questions about the importance of authenticity in relationships and social interactions.

FINALLY!, a modern-day, old-fashioned, Boy-Meets-Girl, screwball, romantic comedy that doesn't miss a comedic beat! It starts off with a bang, takes off like a freight train, roars down the track - sparks flying, never slowing down - and pulls into the station, a bit bruised, but with ease. Great story! Great cast! Great twists and turns and every signpost! And, of course, a great finish. If you love watching a sweet, funny, romantic comedy (and this is one!) - snuggle up - because you'll adore "A Fantastic Romance." A top-ten movie this year. Don't miss this Lover's Delight-ful film. Can't wait for the sequel!
