Malayalees have been eagerly waiting to see them together again on the silver screen, and now, the wait is finally over. Thudarum is all set to hit theatres on April 25, 2025. Interestingly, Thudarum is releasing less than a month after the blockbuster Mohanlal starrer L2: Empuraan hit theatres on the 27th of March 2025.

Thudarum was initially expected to be released on January 30th, 2025, but that didn’t happen. While no official reason was given for the delay, it was speculated that the makers couldn’t secure a streaming deal that matched their asking price.

The Sydney Film Festival will present ‘Jane Campion – Her Way,’ a retrospective of films by the pioneering director. Campion herself will appear in conversation with David Stratton on June 10 at the 2023 edition of the festival, its 70th anniversary presentation (June 7-18).

Held in association with Acmi and the National Film and Sound Archive, ‘Jane Campion – Her Way’ will encompass screenings of all nine of Campion’s feature films, as well as a selection of her short films. This is not a mean feat, considering Panchavarna Thatha hasn’t even hit the silver screens yet. It has been does not have the backing of an established director; and is the directorial debut of Ramesh Pisharody. Starring Jayaram and Kunchako Boban in the lead roles, the film is touted to be a complete family entertainer. The trailer of Panchavarna Thatha was released recently and fetched positive responses. Jayaram’s all-new look in the film is also something to watch out for. While Anusree will be seen as the female lead, other actors in supporting roles are: Mallika Sukumaran, Salim Kumar, Dharmajan, Joju George, Asokan and Premkumar. Written by Hari P Nair and Ramesh Pisharody, the film has been shot extensively in various locations including Velloor and Kottayam. The shooting of this film, which began early this year, is now over and the post production work is currently in progress. The sound track has been composed by M Jayachandran and Nadirshah while the background score has been composed by Ouseppachan. The film's first song 'Panchavarna Thatha Paranne,' sung by Haricharan and Jyotsna, was released recently. Featuring on a celebratory mood and the song starred Anusree, Kunchacko Boban and Maniyanpilla Raju, grooving in the backdrop of a birthday party. Pradeep Nair has handled the cinematography for Panchavarna Thatha while V Sajan is the editor in charge. New Delhi, June 30: Vikas Khoker of Hyderabad Saturday won season 9 of youth reality show "MTV Roadies" .

Khoker defeated 13 contestants including seven women and six men and took away a cheque of Rs. 61,700.

Abhishek Shetty, Himani Sharma, Vinay Abhishek, Anirudha Sharma, Arsh Shearif, Taranjeet Kaur, Manali, Diyali Chauhan, Pratima Dagar, Vikas Thokar, Kanak Raju, Khusbhu Patel and Dimpy Yadav were the other contestants of season nine.

The finale began with the ex Roadies entering the location where they meet the final four including Himani Sharma, Kanak Raju and Vinay Abhishek. Rajiv along with his twin brother Raghu Ram judged the show this season.

Mumbai, Mar 19: After scoring a six with Rajkumar Hirani in "3 Idiots", Aamir Khan is open to again working with the director.

"I would love to do Raju's film. But I want him to make the announcement. The script is very good. Raju is a very good director and a very good human being. We have spoken about a film, but it's better if he announces it," said Aamir.

The said film is tentatively titled "Pk". However Aamir is occupied with his TV show "Satyameva Jayate", due to which the release of his film "Talaash" has also been pushed towards the end of 2012.
