Tragically, Shelly was killed in a homicide. She directed and appeared with Hines in the successful romantic comedy drama "Waitress" starring Keri Russell. Shelly's husband Andy Ostroy will produce the dark comedy about a successful attorney who finds out her husband is about to leave her for another woman and ends up tying him to the toilet.   The film stars Kristen Bell, Justin Long, Meg Ryan, Timothy Hutton, Kimberlee Peterson, Derek Carter, Nathan Dean and Bill Parks.
