Steve Gan
- Born Santos S. Gan, he decided to change his professional name to Steve Gan, in honor of Steve Ditko, the man who created Spider-Man. He changed his name because there were many people named Santos in local comics that time.
- He co-created Panday. However, he was not credited in any of the film and TV version of the comic character, thus he doesn't receive any royalty.
- Before he got a break drawing for American comic book giant Marvel Comics, he sent work through his United States-based agent Tony DeZuñiga, also a Filipino comic book legend.
- Writer/editor Nestor Redondo gave him his biggest break--the novel entitled Bernardita.
- He worked with writer Steve Englehart for the creation of Peter Quill/Star-Lord. But after the first issue came out in January 1976, "Marvel Preview" #4, he was out from the series because his agent left America so the relationship was cut.
