SActress Anurekha Bhagat, who portrays a central role in the show ‘State v/s Ahuja’ shared she was initially hesitant about shooting intense scenes with Ashmit Patel, adding that the latter made her feel comfortable, and it was shot effortlessly.

The actress, who is known for her roles in ‘Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2’, ‘Upnyaas’, plays the character of Deepa Sawant, a maid who accuses Bollywood actor Ansh Ahuja (played by Ashmit) of rape.

Anurekha recently shared her experience of working with Ashmit Patel, praising his professionalism and how he made her feel comfortable during intense scenes.

The actress shared: “We shot one scene where we got close, but Ashmit sir made me extremely comfortable. We had rehearsed once or twice before giving our shot, and the scene happened very naturally. There was no hesitation. Ashmit sir was understanding and tried to comfort me throughout.”

Actor Ashmit Patel, who is making his return to acting with the streaming series ‘State v/s Ahuja’, has shared what he was doing during his “self-imposed hiatus”. The actor shared that he was busy with music production and his gigs as a DJ during the time of his hiatus.

The actor essays the lead role in the series which narrates the tale of Bollywood superstar Ansh Ahuja facing rape accusations by his maid.

The series has been directed by Tarun Chopra. As the plot thickens, viewers are drawn into a riveting world of suspense, investigation, and courtroom drama, where unexpected revelations keep them hooked.

Talking about the same, Ashmit Patel, who plays the role of Ansh, said: “I’m thrilled not only to return to the screen after a brief break (during which time I’ve been working on my music production and doing my DJ gigs) with such an intriguing concept.

After garnering effusive praise in prestigious film festivals such as Toronto International Film Festival Kids, Cairo International Film festival and Kolkatta International Film Festival 2015, Choreographer turned Director Seemaa Desai’s children’s film Pappu Ki Pugdandi produced by children’s film society of India (Cfsi) has been selected in Dream Fest International for Children & Teenagers, Bucharest, Romania. With this latest recognition, the film completes official entries in 17 film festivals (Indian and International).

The Cast consists of master Hardik Khanna ,Atul Parchure ,Anupam Bhattacharya, Jaswinder Gardner and Prince Shah.

Seemaa Desai is elated with success of the children s film and is now working on a women centric script based on rajasthani women who live in the barren lands and add a splash of color in their life through music and dance and create their own unique language.
