The Dceu has seen success as recently as 2022 with Matt Reeves' The Batman, considered one of the greatest DC projects to date, with many fans and critics comparing it to the ultimate DC film - The Dark Knight. The DC Comics extended world seems to have hit a rough patch with Black Adam and The Flash bombing. Add in the complete scrapping of The Batwoman movie, and one might think that the live-action DC cinematic universe may not have much room to grow.

Chicago – Get out your Lucha Libre Mexican Wrestling masks, a special film double feature is being presented by The National Museum of Mexican Art at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre. “The Bat-Woman” (1968) and “The Panther Women” (1967) have both had a 4K Restoration, score tickets and details by clicking Female Lucha Libre.
The double feature is hosted by Chicago Film programmer Raul Benitez and Viviana Garcia-Besne of the Permanencia Voluntaria Archivo Cinematográfico … whose family produced these films and that she restored from the original negatives. “The Bat-Woman” (La Mujer Murcielago) involves a sexy masked crime fighter who battles a mad scientist harvesting the glands of wrestlers and “The Panther Women (Las Mujeres Panteras) has wrestlers taking on female Satan worshipers. Both films are in Spanish with English subtitles.
