This was a huge hit so I expected to be impressed when I set out to watch it. This surpassed even my high expectations. Yang Yang is perfect as handsome genius aerospace engineer Yu Tu who hides a sweet core underneath a cold and stoic veneer. Dilraba Dilmurat dazzles as beautiful, bubbly and mischievous A-list actress Qiao Jingjing who confessed to Yu Tu in high school but got rejected. The rejection somehow made online news, re-igniting Jingjing's interest in Yu Tu. The chemistry between Yang Yang and Dilraba is stellar, no pun intended. The scene where Yu Tu publicly reveals his interest in Jingjing during a high school class reunion is one of the most titillating and swoon-inducing revelations in dramas for me.
Another aspect I like about this drama is the message of finding achievement not in financial rewards but in realizing one's dream of making a substantial contribution to science and country. The depiction of the life of a Chinese aerospace engineer is quite impressive, reviving my long-forgotten dream of working in the aerospace industry. The satellite rescue and rocket launch scenes are glorious and exhilarating.

I am loving this drama so much. The leading characters are doing justice to their respective characters very well and their chemistry is undeniable. The drama is presented beautifully bu each and every character. It has some important scenes which is delivered in a realistic and strong emotional and socially acceptability line with a powerful impact. The production design created beautifully and the background score is astounding. The details they have put in the drama gives the audience an emotional roller coaster connecting them within. With every episodes, it is impossible to be distracted and actually draws you in, even closer to each of its characters. This drama exceeds my expectations .

I have previously read the novel AND I CAN SAY THIS DRAMA IS 100% IDENTICAL TO THE NOVEL. The play writer for the script is actually the writer of the novel HERSELF!!! Hence most scenes have remained in the drama and the script is also 100% the same!!!! The chemistry between these two yang yang and diliraba is incredible! You can tell that their acting is super natural and as a viewer, I felt like being in a relationship as well!! Top visuals too(tbh imo they are probably the hottest actor and actress in China!!) Overall, I highly recommend this drama!! Go watch now!!!

The chemistry, the acting, the story line, the flow, the cinematography, the couple-pairing, the plot are top notch and perfectly executed!it's based on a novel and they stay true to the original but with more details. The actor n actress are really bring the characters came to life, their chemistry and acting feel so real. I lost count on how many times I've rewatched this.

Some episodes were so unnecessary, please, it's not an aerospace engineering lecture, I didn't ask for all that. Asides that, it was such a sweet and sometimes too sad love story. The leads didn't have the best chemistry but the Female lead was very enjoyable to watch.

Gosh, i am still blushing at this drama, so different, so refreshing, non toxic mature very realistic love story told with the most intense and spicy chemistry, i gasped multiple times at their make out scenes because its so shocking its a cdrama i am watching because it was a whole new level of realistic romance.
I thoroughly enjoyed it so much i was done in 2.5 days, the acting, story plot supporting actors are all so amazing, not one evil character, you just keep getting progressive love between the leads with no crazy exes or parents, just growth upon growth and supporting each other till it ends. If you are single, this drama will make you look for love fast, i dont even know how the leads can be single in this life after watching each other act so realistic and intimately like they are meant for each other, they had better get multiple awards for their delivery because it was too real for a drama.

💥 You've been slain❗ Oh no. What's Jingjing gonna do?
This show is anxiety treatment. It's soothing, the dulcet voices speak Mandarin that is beautiful to listen to; it's almost like a massage. Heartbreak & tense moments are kept to a minimum. It's very pleasant hanging out with this pair, even though they're a little boring. Those thoughts & feelings will carry a viewer to the 20-something episodes. At some point, one must acknowledge that the dialogue isn't much more than "Look at me I'm pretty," and "Look at my boyfriend. Isn't he handsome?" The writing and dialogue are so flat they're nearly 1-dimensional.
YAMG is a 2021 release of 32 35-min episodes. It was still a few episodes too long and the content was too stretched out in the end. I didn't hate this show. It has some lovely, moments. It's easy to see why many would enjoy this, but it's just not my poison, so I'm unable to easily overlook its shortcomings.
Stalett, Qiao Jingjing, was a high school classmate of now rocket scientist Yu Tu. She had a crush on him, but he was only interested in the stars. (Now that she's a huge star, he might take notice). She never forgot Yu Tu, but she stopped thinking about him and went on with her life. The entertainment industry is half smoke and mirrors - they sell fantasy and most of their narratives are closely managed: They flat-out lie about the stars' personal lives. Jingjing is starring in a movie about gaming and she got too carried away one day and gave the (very false) impression that she's good at the game Honor of Kings. This got her an invite to the upcoming game tournament and it also generated lots of skepticism and mean talk online. If she doesn't get real good real quick she'll be a laughingstock. She needs a coach.
Yu Tu is a near master at the game. She's aware of his online persona and reaches out to him to teach her gaming. He doesn't make it easy, but he comes around and works with her. The rest of the story is them falling for e/o and them acclimating to their relationship. She has to keep her love life a secret. That's one obstacle. They have the HS reunion and a trip home to their families. That's a big deal. Then it's sorting out their busy careers and making time for the other. Let's not forget the gaming tournament. Yu won't let her fail. I doubt any viewer thinks she'll mess that up.
Dilraba Dilmurat is everywhere. I've seen enough close-ups of her face for a lifetime. She's beautiful, and she has impossibly big eyes. As far as acting goes, she can be likeable, but her range is limited. She does a good job at playing cute. Yang Yang is also very popular. My First look at him was in The King's Avatar-7.9, which is quite good. In KA he's an analytical gamer who plays Glory, and he's virtually sexless. In YAMG his friends call him "girl repellant". His hair is more tailored in this show which gives him a leaner look. He transforms into a good romantic ML once he decides what he's going to do. He changed his voice in YAMG to make it deeper and more serious. It doesn't sound authentic. I've long been on the fence when it comes to his talent. I considered him average in Who Rules the World-7.5. I admit that he managed solid sex-appeal in this show. He was also quite good in Love 020-6.7, but that show could also be better. Currently, his name on the billing wouldn't move me towards or away from a show.
This romance is lowkey. It comes very close to dragging alittle, but in the end, it's sweet. In the early episodes It's hard to imagine what's going to filll the rest of the time. Some of their time apart should have been halved or quartered, but it worked. Many of their romantic scenes work, too, though the latter ones are repetitive of the earlier ones. It would appear they had sufficient content for 20-25 episodes max. They stretched it too thin.
Therefore, YAMG should have been better. They had the ingredients and the tools for a top level romance. Chinese modern-day features often contain awkward dialog and wooden interactions between actors. Everything's stiff. Their idea of amusement is when he acts smugly. Sometimes it works. Smetimes it doesn't. One of my discarded titles is: He's so good looking & she's so good looking, it /must/ be love. It's meant ironically. There was a time when they commented on looks one time to nany, and that was in the teen episodes. They go beyond any scrap of good sense with it. It started to feel gross. My rating would have been lower, except she /really is/ cute and gorgeous, and he /really is/ handsome. That does take them a long way. In the last half dozen episodes it became increasingly difficult to hang in there with them, however. The final 2 episodes are more about patriotism and a love for China's space program, which our ML is an employee of. There's nothing wrong with that.
Some of the outfits are awful - almost beyond imagination. They have so many wardrobe misses that I questioned myself on the "hits". The red dress she wears is stunning, without question. He's got some cool slip-on ankle boots that are a little bit platform. I love them. Maybe I'm wrong - I am a sucker for crazy socks and shoes. They look sleek to me. There's other times where the fashion is disastrous. Yu's mother runs out of the front door during breakfast in a long sleeve velvet (velour?) dress that looks more appropriate for a cocktail party. Furthermore, she runs out to the front gate in her slippers, which would never happen. There's another scene where they're hanging out indoors with their coats on. I can't help but contrast the wardrobe in modern day features to the costumes in Chinese historical and fantasy features, which are resplendent works of art. It's fascinating. As far as music goes,. Stereo Love, by fewtile, is a world class tune; it's sad, haunting, transportive, and it's on my Spotify.
Who will like this? Diehard romantics and romance junkies who are looking for a low stress, low mental energy watch. I didn't mind it at all, but there is nothing that beckons to me to circle back to this couple - ever. My world will not revolve back in that direction.

Age 13+ plenty of kissing and they hit the sack prior to tying the knot.
Poli-wagging; 4/10. Many modern-day Chinese features send the message: Be a good citizen. It would be un-American to not criticize our own government, right? That's a jailable offense in China. There is no perfect government in the world, so there's always something to be improved on.

It's boring, even though we see a beauty Dilraba with good acting. Some episodes just sit and play games and get attracted to each other... it seems that it costs less so the story is too simple for 32 eps.

Do you know all those Chinese and Korean dramas where the acting is bad, the plot is predictable and there's clichés all the time?? Well, this is COMPLETELY THE OPPOSITE.
Quirkily funny, witty, refreshing, sweet, romantic, deep, real.... I wish it was longer, you need to watch this one.
This is one of the best dramas I have ever seen ( and I have seen way too many) .
Quality dialogues, the script is just excellent, the characters are extremely realistic and they evolve and develop through their life from when they are teenagers to when they are grown up. There's nothing in this story that doesn't make sense and at the same time you never expect anything that happens, the writers keep surprising you and it is pure joy.
You can perceive the importance of every look the main characters give to each other, every silence and every word they speak and every smile have its purpose in the story The chemistry between the leads os just electrifying, the series is so good at displaying true affection, the hugs, kisses and physical contact feels genuine and you find yourself smiling looking at them being sweet and cozy.
A slow burn plot that teases you, you fall in love at the same time they are falling in love and you feel the pain, the passion and the anxiety they feel as well.

Done watching first 10 episodes of #YouAreMyGlory
Everything was so amazing... The bgm, editing, plot, and flow of the story run smoothly
This drama is so warm... I love the character of Qiao Jing Jing... so pure and innocent... #Dilireba makes justice of portraying her character. And everyone will surely fall in love with YangYang & Dilraba chemistry .

I have read the novel and finish it already. Many parts of the original novel were not included which I find it annoying because the parts deleted was the main highlight in the novel for me. Another reason was the leads, they don't have chemistry at all for me I prefer Sheng Zhuang for YY and Johny Huang for Reba.hehe sorry I'm quite a shipper. I dropped this drama because of promotions also they are so fake in the promotion and I can feel that they are just acting for the sake of viewership. All in all I became uninterested to the drama itself after seeing their faces too many times due to different events I find the 2 of them boring to watch.

YAMG was simply put amazing..Well acted by lead male and female which made following this drama joyful to watch. I simply enjoyed the progression of there love story. I love that once they got together no one could stand in there way..Cute, romantic drama..I hope they win many awards for this adaptation because they really nailed this one. If you are looking for a good streaming romance for a quiet weekend gather some of your friend's,open the champagne and have a blast.. I see that a lot of people thought Yang Yang was too Broody and didn't like his character but what I think people missed was that he was in conflict with himself on what path his life would take him on which if your older everyone knows happens in your thirty's. Great job guys!!!

I loved everything about this drama. The direction, the mature plot, the romance, the super adorable hugs, kisses, the dialogues.. everything is just perfect !! And of course the chemistry between YangYang and Reba is super amazing !! One of the best, if not the best, modern romance dramas !! This is one of those dramas that can be watched multiple times. The love between the glory couple is just heart warming and it will definitely make you root for them both onscreen and off screen !!
