The Lincoln Lawyer 2

Author of the book The Lincoln Lawyer, Michael Connely, has also had other books adapted for screen. To include "Blood Work" starring Clint Eastwood and a new upcoming series on Amazon Prime called "Bosch" based on his L.A. Detective series following the exploits and cases of a homicide detective named Harry Bosch. While the films and TV series follow separate story lines, all the main characters at some point work together or are at least mentioned in their individual books causing a fun overlap of very well written characters.
