Exclusive: Cheech Marin has been cast in the Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day reimagination following George Lopez’s exit due to a scheduling conflict.

He will portray Gil, the patriarch of the Garcia family and a comedic character who rides a motorcycle.

From writer Matt Lopez and director Marvin Lemus, Alexander tells the story of 11-year-old Alexander Garcia (Thom Nemer) who thinks he has the worst luck in the world. When his family sets off on a road trip to California, he’s pretty sure disaster awaits at every corner. His anxiety only increases when a family secret is revealed.

The film also stars Eva Longoria, Jesse Garcia, Paulina Chávez and Rose Portillo. Production is currently underway in New Mexico.

Just as the premise of “Shotgun Wedding” fuses romantic comedy and action, the ending also combines those two elements, but not without some twists and turns.

“There are a couple [twists] towards the end that I know actually surprised the audience,” director Jason Moore told TheWrap in an interview. “In our test screenings we actually asked, ‘Did you see this coming?’ and 95 of the people said no, so it’s fun to have a movie that has a couple of secrets inside of it.”

Prime Video has released a batch of first-look images for the romantic comedy ‘Shotgun Wedding to accompany the announcement of the release date of January 27th, 2023 on Prime Video.

Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) gather their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding, just as the couple begin to get cold feet. And if that wasn’t enough of a threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage. “’Til Death Do Us Part” takes on a whole new meaning in this hilarious, adrenaline-fueled adventure as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones—if they don’t kill each other first.

Fans are getting invited to the union from hell in “Shotgun Wedding”.

New photos from the upcoming film show Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Coolidge, and Lenny Kravitz in the middle of a hostile situation.

The film follows Lopez and Josh Duhamel as a strained couple whose failing relationship gets worse when their wedding gets hijacked by criminals.

Photos show Lopez dressed in a white wedding gown as Duhamel pulls her from a golf cart in a matching white groom’s outfit.

Duhamel was recast in the role after Armie Hammer left the film amid sexual assault accusations.
