The indie follows Owen, played by James, as a successful professor living in South Korea and bedridden after a devastating car accident killed his wife, Sandy (Hoyeon). Owen is cared for by Yuna, his Korean mother-in-law, who starts to unravel the truth behind Owen and Sandy’s marriage, only to threaten his road to recovery.

Hoyeon made her acting debut in the first season of Netflix’s Squid Game series, and also appears in Alfonso Cuarón’s psychological thriller Disclaimer for Apple TV+. Hoyeon also has an upcoming starring role in Na Hong-jin’s Hope, opposite Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender.

Ahead of an October 1 broadcast start and subsequent simulcast on Crunchyroll, the official website and accounts for the Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime today revealed five additional cast members and the series' ending song, "Kimi ni Koi wo Musunde" by main cast members Sumire Uesaka, Kaede Hondo and Shion Wakayama. Video games such as The Walking Dead and Red Dead Redemption 2 are meant to be fun, and for the most part, they are. However, every once in a while, developers yank at our heartstrings and give gamers a devastating ending.

Just like any form of entertainment, video games depend on their ending. No matter the medium, a good closure to a story gives a sense of unity, with narrative elements coming together for a proper closure. However, not all game endings are about hope. Some of the most legendary titles in gaming history end with heartbreak and sorrow.

Undoubtedly, these titles leave gamers depressed or hollow, but they also offer a chance to dive into difficult topics and engage in life-questioning conversations. From The Walking Dead to Red Dead Redemption 2, here are five games that left us emotional, distraught, and possibly in tears.

5. The Walking Dead The Walking Dead Season 1 ends with a heartbreaking moment.

The television adaptation of Pachinko by Min Jin Lee returns with a second season of the family saga on August 23 on Apple TV+.

In response to the film’s poor reception, the MCU announced a shift in focus from quantity to quality, significantly reducing its future output. There are also insider rumors that the movie’s failure led to the cancellation of plans for ‘Captain Marvel 3’ and Monica Rambeau’s standalone TV series, although these remain unconfirmed.

The movie appears to have had significant repercussions in the world of comics as well, particularly affecting the ‘Captain Marvel’ series intended as a tie-in with the film.

It seems that the movie has had far-reaching consequences for the world of comics as well, in particular related to the ‘Captain Marvel’ series that was supposed to serve as a tie-in with the movie.

Last year, Marvel Comics launched a new Captain Marvel series right in time for The Marvels' arrival in theaters. As is so often the case, the comic featured several similarities to the movie, including Carol Danvers' new costume and the inclusion of Nega-Bands and body-swapping.

The Marvels earned so-so reviews with 62% on Rotten Tomatoes but flopped at the box office with a dismal $206 million worldwide. No one has managed to figure out how or why it flopped so spectacularly, especially as it also featured popular Disney+ characters Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau.

Regardless, Marvel Comics has just pulled the plug on Captain Marvel after only 10 issues.

In the letters page of Captain Marvel #10, editor Sarah Brunstad writes, "Ah, dear friends. Here we part, for a short time. Captain Marvel stories will continue in the gangbuster Avengers series and elsewhere."

When it comes to medieval fantasy, anime fans point to properties like Vinland Saga as intriguing stories. Rightfully so. These franchises are filled with war and politics, which play for a Western audience, who love the likes of House of the Dragon.

One movie set in this vein is none other than 2022's The Deer King. This narrative focused on Van, a warrior who struggled with grief and trauma from his past. He was very much like Maximus from Ridley Scott's Gladiator as he tried to move on after losing his family, only to end up a slave. However, Van's journey quickly gave him a higher calling that not even he could have predicted.

Episode 9 of Miss Night and Day is like a stop on a ride that we didn’t necessarily need. It’s not that it doesn’t progress the story at all; it does, but a lot of what happens in the episode could’ve been covered in half an episode with more revelations by the end.
