Spoilers for "Daredevil: Born Again" follow.
The villain of "Daredevil: Born Again" is once more Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's few recurring villains. Fisk has gone from ruling the underworld to becoming the Mayor of New York City, but crime boss or not, he's still the Kingpin.
Yet there's been another bad guy operating in the shadows: Muse, a masked serial killer that paints graffiti murals from his victims' drained blood. (Murals actually drawn by the real "Daredevil" artist David Mack.) He even dresses like an artist, with a black beanie hat and blood stains on his costume splattered like paint.
Charles Soule's 2015-2018 run on the "Daredevil" comic is a big influence on season 1 of "Born Again," including Muse's presence. Muse is a pretty new villain; he debuted during Soule's third arc, "Dark Art,...

This article contains spoilers for "Daredevil: Born Again" episode 7.
"Daredevil: Born Again" is arguably an improvement on the Netflix series, especially in its portrayal of vigilantism and the legal drama that stems from it. That said, the long-awaited sequel saga -- which is available to stream on Disney+ -- isn't perfect, as the storyline centering around the mysterious serial killer Muse (Hunter Doohan) and his artistic endeavors is full of missed opportunities, such as a failing to introduce a heroic vigilante whose regular alias sneakily debuted in Netflix's "Iron Fist." Yes, we're talking about Samuel Chung (previously played by James Chen), aka Blindspot.
The latest series about Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and his crime-fighting escapades in New York plucks elements from several Marvel Comics stories. The Muse storyline, however, was inspired by writer Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney's "Daredevil" run, which sees The Man Without Fear recruit Blindspot as his sidekick,...

Daredevil: Born Again brought back Frank Castle in its latest episode, but the show has also brought one character into the MCU who has never had a live-action presence before. Introduced in 2016, Muse is an antagonist who has chiefly troubled two heroes: Daredevil, and his student Blindspot. The character has also had run-ins with the Punisher and might be key to the agenda that Wilson Fisk entered office with.

Wilson Fisk entered his mayoral tenure in New York City with the agenda that vigilante violence and vigilante justice are something that needs to be curbed by any means necessary, the character, indirectly, singled out The Punisher, Daredevil, and Spider-Man during his campaign. Muse actually ends up helping Mayor Fisk with his shenanigans, which the former leverages to push his anti-vigilante agenda.

One thing Daredevil: Born Again fans have locked in on is how Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock is once more having a crisis of faith. Matt has been going through the motions, nodding back to the Netflix days. Villains are once more causing immense tragedy and loss.
A lot has to do with Bullseye killing Foggy Nelson in the premiere, with things only getting worse with another custodian of justice being murdered. Quick LinksWho Died on Chicago Fire - And Why That's Bigger Than Fans ThinkChicago Fire Season 13, Episode 15 Teases Viewers With Damon's ReturnChicago Fire's Comic Relief Never Really Gets Off the Ground
The following contains major spoilers from Chicago Fire Season 13, Episode 15, "Too Close," which debuted Wednesday, March 5 on NBC.
Chicago Fire Season 13, Episode 15, "Too Close" upholds a long-running tradition on the NBC show: killing characters off. Anyone who's watched the series consistently knows that people die in and around Firehouse 51 on a regular basis. It's the writers' way of keeping things fresh, and also reminding viewers that firefighters have a lethal job. This latest death, though, will leave fans reeling for a few different reasons.
What's interesting is that most of the drama in "Too Close" revolves around a different firehouse. Firehouse 20 is front and center because of Kelly Severide's half-brother, Jack Damon. Meanwhile, Severide and Stella Kidd are completing their adoption vetting process.

Following a delay due to behind-the-scenes creative differences, the MCU’s highly anticipated Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, is finally here to reintroduce the hero. Given Daredevil’s street-level roots in the comics, Kevin Feige has chosen to film on practical sets within New York City itself, which will no doubt lend the series the air of realism that permeates Daredevil’s stories in Marvel Comics.
However, even White Tiger is set to appear in the MCU series. Additionally, fans have already seen shots containing graffiti that depict the Kingpin signed simply with “Muse.” This has left many fans of Marvel Comics excited, but who is the mysterious villain set to make his much-anticipated MCU debut?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is packed with a score of characters who more than deserve their own Disney Plus show.
The MCU franchise has been known for a lot of great supporting characters. Some are drawn from the comics, while others are more original, but they all shine nicely, adding to the narrative in ways that are often unexpected. Some are able to rise up thanks to the actors, while others sadly don’t get the attention they should. Thankfully, with Disney Plus expanding the horizons of the shared universe with so many new TV shows over the past few years, there are more opportunities for folks to rise up and get some of that long-overdue spotlight.
It’s tricky to decide which ones would thrive in that spotlight, however, as some characters really are better when they aren't the main focus. We loved Luis in the Ant-Man movies, but...

All things being equal, you’d never want to live anywhere near a supermax prison, but there are few patches of narrative real estate more beloved by broadcast television.
It’s easy to understand why. Your typical supermax prison — or any prison or facility that creators can claim is packed with the worst and most notorious of criminals — is like a concrete-encased cornucopia of procedural plotlines just waiting to break out.
It’s the fodder for much of Prison Break, as well as the third season of Heroes, the brief run of Alcatraz and just about any Batman story connected to Arkham Asylum. With some twists and variations, it’s the seed that germinated in several of NBC’s most successful shows of the ’10s, including The Blacklist and Blindspot — shows that made promises in their pilots that a weekly string of the worst villains imaginable were connected through a...

Quick Links Everything Fans Know About Daredevil: Born Again Who is Blindspot? How Could Daredevil: Born Again Introduce Blindspot?
With the release of the official trailer for Daredevil: Born Again, interest in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has spiked once again. It promises to be an expansion on everything fans already loved about both the character and the original Netflix series. According to the actors, it's going to match the darker tone of the original - which is good, as many had concerns that moving it to Disney+ would defang some of the characters and be a disservice to the story. Though it struggled a bit through the early stages of its production, Daredevil: Born Again very well could be one of the strongest Disney+ shows.
Though fans are excited to see their favorite characters again, they are perhaps just as thrilled at the idea of meeting new citizens of Hell's Kitchen.

During their Consumer Electronics Show (CES) presentation last night, Naughty Dog head Neil Druckmann officially announced that The Last of Us season two will debut this coming April, exclusively on HBO and streaming on Max.
The second season will consist of seven episodes, and while we don't have an exact premiere date just yet, we'd imagine the series returns sometime in mid-April, in the same release window Game of Thrones used to occupy during its run.
Season two will pick up five years after the events of season one, which concluded with Joel (Pedro Pascal) going on a rampage to rescue an unconcious Ellie (Belly Ramsey) from the Fireflies and then, in an effort to protect her, covering up the truth by telling her that making a cure was impossible and that raiders had raided the facility and forced them to flee.

For much of cinematic history, famous action roles were synonymous with male characters, especially on major television networks. There were, of course, female-led productions, but the closest audiences got to a female action star was Annie Oakley in 1956. The '70s offered more of a renaissance for powerful women in action roles, with shows like Wonder Woman and Charlie's Angels being huge hits of the time. But, the truth is, it took a while for women-fronted projects to become more commonplace.
The 1990s were a turning point for this genre when the world was introduced to Xena, the Charmed ones, and Buffy Summers. They were all capable female characters who were not only strong but also complex and well-rounded individuals, fully able to carry a hit TV show. Since then, viewers have tuned in time and time again, keen to see their favorite spies, assassins, and protectors doing what they do best in high-octane adventures.

It’s been 28 years since Marianne Jean-Baptiste burst onto the international film scene in Mike Leigh’s Secrets and Lies.
The British actress was barely out of drama school when she got cast in the 1996 comedic drama playing Hortense, a Black middle-class professional who was adopted as a baby and, after the death of her parents, decides to track down her birth mother. Hortense discovers Cynthia (Brenda Blethyn) a working-class white woman and barely functional alcoholic with a very dysfunctional family. The contrast between Blethyn’s Cynthia, all twitching nerves, emotionally raw and vulnerable, and the calm, restrained, often bemused performance of Jean-Baptiste as Hortense forms the emotional core of the film.
Secrets and Lies premiered in Cannes, where it won the Palme d’Or en route to an awards season that would end with five Oscar nominations, including a best actress nod for Jean-Baptiste. Her career was officially launched.

Prolific writer, director and producer Greg Berlanti spoke of his personal journey and lifelong love of television when receiving the 2024 Governors Award at the Emmy Awards.
“I wanted to be a part of television even before I knew how that was possible,” the 52-year-old showrunner, one of the youngest individual recipients of the award, said in his emotional speech. “So many Gen X kids in the 70s and 80s, the one color TV our family could afford was on around the clock in our house, and I watched and loved all of it.”
Berlanti used that childhood experience as inspiration for his company Berlanti Production’s logo.
“There wasn’t a lot of gay characters on television back then, and I was a closeted gay kid, and it’s hard to describe how lonely that was at the time,” Berlanti continued. “There was no Internet to connect with other queer kids,...

Greg Berlanti will receive the 2024 Governors Award, the Television Academy announced on Thursday. The award, which he will take home at the 76th Emmy Awards on Sept. 15, is in recognition of his contributions to television since he got his start as a staff writer on “Dawson’s Creek” in 1998.
Among the 45 TV series that Berlanti has since created, written or exec-produced (or some combination of all three) are “Brothers and Sisters,” “Dirty Sexy Money,” “Arrow,” “Blindspot,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl,” “Everwood,” “You,” “Titans,” “Riverdale,” “Doom Patrol,” “All American” and “Found.” His work often centers members of the LGBTQ+ community. “Dawson’s Creek” featured the first same-sex kiss between two men on American network television, for instance, and his fall NBC series “Brilliant Minds” has the first single gay lead in an American medical drama.

Between classics like Criminal Minds and CSI, crime procedurals have always had a strong fan-base. But upon reviewing this beloved genre, one show has seemingly fallen under the radar, that being, Blindspot. Airing for five seasons, following its initial release in 2015, this show had it all from its thrilling mystery to a rich-in-chemistry ensemble. Indeed, it's hard to figure out why this show isn't treated like a classic. Just look at its premise: a woman wiped of her memories is found in a bag in Time Square with only her tattooed-covered body to help solve the mystery of her identity.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent starred Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe as a dynamic duo solving crimes that are shown to viewers from the perspective of the suspect. The unique criminal perspective shown in the show created an edgy and eerie feeling for viewers that proved beneficial. Law & Order: Criminal Intent is one of the best Dick Wolf...

Antony Starr’s diabolical performance as Homelander in The Boys has become one of the show’s greatest strengths and the character has risen among the ranks of greatest on-screen villains of all time. The show continues to push the character’s instability and narcissism with every season and audiences have been disgusted with some heinous actions that he has done since the first season.
Homelander and Ryan in season 4 of The Boys | Prime Video
The show has taken the template that the MCU has employed with its cinematic universe and flipped it on its head. The Boys season 4 may finally give The Deep a chance to shine and show off his true potential. The Seven's strength could be restored with the addition of powerful new recruits and The Deep stepping up to showcase his abilities. The Boys season 4 trailer hints at The Deep becoming a legitimate threat, with his powers potentially rivaling even powerful supe characters like Starlight.
One supe has been consistently nerfed throughout The Boys' first three seasons, but he might finally get his chance to shine in season 4. In The Boys' three-season runtime, some supes have portrayed incredible feats of strength, speed, and other extraordinary abilities, while others have been sidelined, underutilized, or, worse, killed in the most ruthless ways. For instance, The Boys introduced Daredevil's parody, Blindspot, in season 2 and made him look utterly vulnerable when Homelander slapped his ears.
