Kathakali : positives : visual , direction , screenplay , story-line , climax of the movie and excellent background music by hip hop . . An engaging thriller , the movie takes inside it . We will be guessing what is going to happen next !!!!!! An excellent work by Pandora and team . Pandiraj showed his skills again with an excellent thriller .Also the acting of every , each and everyone should be appreciated . First 30 minutes of the movie is not that much good , but after that the movie full and full thriller and entertainer . negatives : First 30 minutes of the movie , except that the movie is good . It is an action-thriller movie . Verdict : Nice movie go and watch with your family . you will be enjoyed so much .

Although it has its own mistakes, Kathakali stands out it its way of storytelling. The screenplay is scripted so well that it doesn't reveal much about what is going to come next. Its not a genius script but it was scripted smartly!

Pros - Vishal Performance, BGM, Screenplay, Performance of other lead characters, Editing and cinematography to some extent.

Though few, there are cons. The fact that why vishal didn't persuade Catherine from coming into Cuddalore leaves a loophole.

As it is different from other commercial movies, I would rate it 8/10. Just for its screenplay and such an attempt in Thamizh Cinema.

My love for action gangster film continues....

The 1st 30 minutes of the film may have been felt unwanted but it is the only way to bring local and rural audience to the theaters. (Remember Thupakki?) hence not complaining much about it.

From the 31st minute the film kicks off slowly and the phase never slows down from there. The last 30 minutes was too good and Yes some of the twists were predictable but it was well presented.

Adhi's may have read some of the reviews about his loud music and may have learned a lesson. Mainly 'Kathakali whistle' was too good fora bgm.

If you are a fan of action films with unlimited twists this film is for you. Just go for it.

PS: Kudos to Pandiraj sir for trying different genre of films and succeeding in it.

The movie was so good. The Highlight of the movie is Songs and BGM. And also thrilling. Its very good from beginning to end. The twists are very good.

Four days before his marriage was framed by the police for the murder of a local goon named Thamba. A cat and mouse game then follows to find the mystery behind the murder.

A superlative action packed thriller crafted by Pandiraj with good story and screenplay and direction. The movie has a twist which is very convincing. Neatly edited one which is much needed for a thriller. So couldn't find any lagging whole throughout the movie.

Vishal's acting was good, he did justice. Action choreography was good. Karunas did his part well as a comedian and as an actor. Catherine Tresa (though she doesn't have much to offer) , Madhusudan Rao (dubbed by Samuthirakkani), Malayalam Actor Sreejith Ravi did justice to their role. Hip Hop Tamizha's soundtrack and BGM did a big favour to this taut movie.
