If you are a Salman Fan, and loved Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijan or Dabangg, you will love this movie.

Even if you are not a Salman Fan, you may still get your money worth. But do not expect and endgame here.

There is not much in terms of story, like in many other Salman Movies, things just happen as Salman is there. There is no rhyme or logic in many narratives, so leave your brain at home. However being a typical Salman movie, Logic has no role.

Sunil Grover is brilliant and turns this movie into a laugh riot with his excellent comic timing. We were laughing during most of the moview and made this movie much bearable.

A few sequences in the second half made some people cry in the audience. to pull off such a feat in an otherwise Laugh riot is laudable.

The movie may seem like a drag if you are not a Salman fan.

My teenager daughter was actually checking her messages on whatsapp during the movie & exclaimed during the Intermission " Oh my God, its just interval, I thought movie was ending soon"

So choose wisely

Unlike 'Sultan', Ali Abbas Zafar & Salman Khan combo didn't work this time on big screens. The movie started with a very strong turning point in year 1947 when Bharat(Salman Khan) got separated from his father during partition & now his sole responsibility is to take care of his family. But after such a strong opening everything just fell apart. No doubt the movie name is 'Bharat - A journey of a man & nation together' but there was no togetherness in this journey, instead there was glimpse of India's progress in 70 years by showing India's World cup win, Nehru Ji's death for 30 seconds & then it focused on Salman Khan skills throughout the movie but the last 15mins of the movie gave some relief to the audience with a small Indo-Pak talk show program which was a nice concept.

If the movie was taken in a manner in which it reflected how Bharat would have lived his life with those struggling Indian years, surviving every aspect of India's journey in those 70 years then it would have been a master piece but sadly it turned out to be something entirely different.

I dont understand how Salman did this movie. It was SO BORING that I had to walk out of the cinema hall. I wasted my money. Please guys DO NOT WATCH IT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY for this stupid film. DISAPPOINTED AS HELL.

Was forced to watch this movie by family. It's a complete waste of time. I couldn't even sleep during the movie because of Salman fans screaming constantly. Had some funny scenes here and there but are not worth watching the whole movie for them. Logic , as usual in Salman movies , was no where to be found. The pirate scene was ridiculously illogical. However, if you are a die hard Salman fan and/or don't care much about logic (and story) , go ahead and watch it. P.S - how exactly did he get so good at marbles(kanche).

Hi, I am writing this movie in cinema hall. This is one of the most horrible and stupid movie I have ever seen. Please do not goto see the movie. I cannot even see the movie sitting for 2 hrs.

I gave 4 stars 2 for sunil grover and 2 for Katrina kaif, 1 for salman khan, this movie is a murder of masterpiece korean movie but I really like Katrina 2.0,her acting is really improved. So if you're a bhai fan then you can go and watch the movie otherwise this is not your cup of tea.

People always used to say that Salman can't act but this type they are proved wrong. I know the film is not very great but Salman's acting was love

A true review of a Salman Khan movie by an Akshay Kumar fan. I didn't expect this much from this movie which has mixed negative inclined reviews. Of course, I didn't think of going to watch it in theatre.

After doing a survey on Twitter that if I should watch this movie or not, I got positive reponse. It motivated me, but didn't make me expect much from it. All their "no spoiler reviews" were mostly correct. Salman Khan, unlike few of his last films since 2017, has done well in this movie. Katrina Kaif was wonderful, one of her best performances yet again. But wait, if truth be told, Disha Patani's 10 minute role outdid her. She is so hot and beautiful!

Back to Bharat, movie starts very slow. Picks up slow and moves slowly until till the end we see the complete picture. It's very emotional. The climax makes me remember some other movies like pk. Yes, it's that good, but could never be of pk level. The movie is in pieces, some are boring, some are interesting, nonetheless all are slow. But it has emotions, it has a journey and it becomes wonderful towards the end.

I liked it. I rate it 7/10.

A fact for you - Bharat movie has the most extras in a movie ever made in the history of Bollywood. That means the people at the background plus everyone on screen. They are in thousands!

I can't say it as a must watch, it's too lengthy, but it won't disappoint many. Some roles like Tabu, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover and ever Katrina's were awesome!

Good Movie. Not a salman fan but REALLY GOOD ONETIMER

I wish I had someone to give me the advise that I am stating here. Would have saved me some money and time.

Its without doubt that Bhai-ism is somethat that you cant miss. But when Bhai goes on a ride the likes of which we have seen so many times it is painstakingly annoying to sit throught it again.

Salman Khan really needs to pivot from the kind of cinema he can do. I actually believe that he can act ( at times). Problem again though is not the acting but the screenplay, the writing is pathetic, even when you have such an excellent source.

Go watch something else. You will have a better time than watching this movie.

Bollywood movies just get there money by playing on emotions. This movie was the same, 90% of the film was painful to sit through because of how mind numbingly shallow it was. The plot holes are shocking and the direction is poor. Would highly recommend not watching this movie.

I don't know why there are so many low ratings for this movie. I know story is average but that was how it meant to be. Salman character is just a middle class guy who wants to fulfill his father's desire to keep his family together which he did. Don't expect him to do stuff that he does in Dabangg and its likes.

Everyone gave justice to their respective roles. Salman and Katrina improved, Sunil Grover's supporting role is hilarious and emotional l, Aasif Sheikh (Nalla) left an impact with his small role, Jackie, Disha , Tabu and others supporting characters did well.

Music is average. Slow motion stands out of all. Screenplay and Story could have been better. The national anthem in between the movie was a treat.

Overall, this is a complete family movie which portrays the journey of a lay man alongside his nation. Go watch it with your family and friends.

Very disappointing movie with very poor pacing issues, weak screenplay and script. Full of cliches. Comedy didn't work. A total flop!

Worst movie ever. The movie is all about bring back careers of kat kaif and sal khan back to track. But the train has derailed even before taking the first meter on track.

Unbearable movie with all characters trying to glorify Salman Khan's character. No story, no logic, no entertainment. The title BHARAT has nothing to do with the movie or the characters of movie. Its a torture to sit thru and watch this movie.
