Bloody Daddy

1st of all , I was eagerly waiting to watch Shahid in this look and the genre , I can say now I am partially satisfied because of Shahid.

And shahid has proven himself he can do action thriller movies , and now no one cannot tell he can't do action movies .

Negatives

Story is seemed to be interesting , but after some time its seems old school and regular story plot , so story only can't satisfy u .

Verdict : if u want to watch it for Shahid then just watch , otherwise I will not recommended u to watch this movie.

And I request Shahid to choose better stories , fans can't digest if it repeats.

This review is based on not seeing the movies priors to this remake, both the french and tamil one. It was full of thrill and entertainment. Felt like I have seen Diana being an actress, a good one after so long. Shahid is getting real comfortable in playing wacky minded characters, and we see it. Hope Bollywood comes out with similar movies, less exaggerated scenes like in this one, good plot with good actors but please no more remakes. Bollywood step up your game, and not just by only recreating other films in hindi! The soundtracks in the film were also different, and fun to listen to. Some scenes were actually hilarious too.

As a well wisher of Shahid, it pains me to see and state that this was such a massive disappointment!

Bloody Daddy's teaser and trailer led me to believe that it would be an action-packed, rugged, and stylish crime drama. I was unaware that there would be only twenty five minutes worth of stunts and choreography, while the remainder of the movie is a puerile attempt at developing a revenge plot that tends to revolve around an abduction and subsequent rescue operation.

The first half is unbelievably bad; the drama is unpersuasive, the dynamics don't seem to work, and the performances failed to convince me of the actual gravity of the situation. The second half of the film becomes mildly interesting, the pace quickens, and the characters get more and more desperate.

This sudden turn of events increased the risk factor, which led to some impressive hand-to-hand fight sequences, but the underlying drama failed to have a positive influence. And I would like to place the blame for this failure on the editing and the incredibly poor dialogue writing. If truth be told, I didn't expect such inferiority from someone like Ali Abbas Zafar.

P. S. Shahid looks great while performing action, and I believe that, with better scripts and stories, he could become a viable action hero - not the massy type, but the classy one.

The gripping story, sprinkled with emotional moments, notably Shahid's touching bond with his son, adds another layer of depth to the narrative.

Overall, "Bloody Daddy" is a satisfying choice for a Saturday night binge-watch. It offers a compelling and absorbing cinematic experience, making it a must-watch for fans of the thriller genre. I rate it 7 out of 10, as it concludes well, but a slightly stronger ending could have enhanced the overall impact. Regardless, it remains an engaging movie that will leave audiences entertained and invested throughout its runtime.

A very worthy film to lead the OTT most streamed movies in India at the number 1 spot , I had the pleasure of being able to see Bloody Daddy and Trial Period at their worldwide digital premieres for free at JioCinema thanks to their strategy of giving us such good content for absolutely no cost and registration. Bloody Daddy is a very good action thriller that does not bore you for even a moment and contains some interesting twists and an engaging screenplay and is led by some great acting performances from everyone involved. Shahid Kapoor does a wonderful job as the lead character, Diana Penty makes for an interesting honest woman cop, Rajeev Khandelwal puts in a stellar acting performance in his role as a police officer too and Ronit Roy makes for an interesting, captivating antagonist. The fight scenes are realistic and are not over the top in the slightest , the protagonist is not shown as an undefeatable superhuman but fights in a very realistic fashion , employing a good use of the surroundings and objects in the environment. The plot does a decent job of showing the extents a father can and will go to for his son and all in all this is an interesting watch , especially for free. My only major problem with this film is that some of the fight scenes could be grander, especially the climax fight scene as the trailer promised a bit more which we could have hoped to see. Since the movie is a remake of a french movie, I will deduct another point as it is not an original movie.
