Titled Rendagam in Tamil and Ottu in Malayalam, the poster for the film was shared by actor Dulquer Salmaan. Rendagam will mark Kunchako Boban’s Tamil debut. The film is being directed by Fellini Tp of Theevandi fame. Rendagam / Ottu is being produced by actor Arya’s banner The Show People, and is being presented in association with Shaji Nadesan’s August Cinema and Cineholix. The film’s cinematography is being handled by Vijay and will be edited by Appu N Bhattathiri. Rendagam/ Ottu will have music by Ah Kaashif. The low-budget con thriller Sathuranga Vettai took everybody by surprise when it released and rocked the box-office in 2014. Two years later, producer-actor Manobala has announced its sequel and it features Arvind Swami and Trisha in the titular roles. 

Directed by Nirmal Kumar, who rose to fame with Vijay Antony of Salim fame, actor Sivakarthikeyan released the first look teaser on Friday via his twitter handle.
