Why Watch? Bringing superheroes down to earth, Stephen Vitale‘s very funny short offers a look at what might happen if Woody Allen’s great-grandson went into the sidekick business and emerged as almost his own man. With a Second City feel, it lives and breathes because of the cranky chemistry between stars Jake Nordwind and Genevieve Farrell — creating a simple concept executed above its pay grade with some clever jokes and the uncomfortable tinge of dating reality. It’s not enough to save the pretty girl from the gasp-worthy villain. You’ve go to commit. Just watch out for that punchline. What Will It Cost? About 3 minutes. Watch More Short Films...

Here's a funny short film I wanted to share with you called Save the Kiss, and it shows us a different kind of superhero fight scene. There are no punches thrown and no death, but there's a lot of fighting. A superhero's girlfriend wants to know his real identity, and he goes on a rant about the meaning of heroism. This is a charming and entertaining short that I think you'll enjoy.
The movie was directed by Stephen Vitale, and it stars Jake Nordwind and Genevieve Farrell. I hope you like it!
