Felipe a wealthy businessman who has been quadriplegic, due to an accident, is looking for a therapeutic assistant. There are several highly qualified, but he decides to take the assistant of his gardener, Tito who has decided to resign. Tito does not even gather the conditions required for such employment, which the people closest to Felipe immediately notice: Veronica and Ivonne, their housekeeper, but Felipe maintains his decision. Tito is the only person, in a long time, who does not treat him with pity.

Despite the difficulties, Tito is adapting, his imprint always surprises Felipe, as when he decides not to take him in the van where they always moved him, but in his luxurious auto sport. Nor does he hesitate to take him out for a walk in the middle of Buenos Aires, when he hears him complaining of pain. He accompanies him to concerts and exhibitions, amusing him with his comments. Intercedes in the problems of its daughter, Elisa, with its boyfriend, Bautista. In short, it helps him to find meaning in a life that, by his condition, had ceased to have. So he goes back to doing things he had almost forgotten, like speeding on his sports car, changing his wheelchair to one where he can walk at 12 km per hour, go horseback riding, hire two masseurs to Relax a little, etc.

Inseparable is the story of a friendship as unexpected as deep and sensitive. Those friendships that last forever, like that of the protagonists of the real life of this story.

Marcos Carnevale both adapted the 2011 Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano French film The Intouchables and directed this Argentinian version. That is a daunting task for any one man – to reset a French masterpiece on Argentine soil and make it work. But for the most part – except for die-hard fans of the French original – this is a film that is fresh if a bit over acted. But we must remember that the film is based on a true story – whether told in French or Spanish.

There are several highly qualified, but he decides to take the assistant of his gardener, Tito (Rodrigo De La Serna), who has decided to resign. Tito needs the money and tolerates the less tasteful aspects of care- giving as the relationship for both men grows strong for quite different reasons. Tito is the only candidate who does not look at Felipe with pity. The supporting staff is excellent – especially the secretary/head of household Ivonne (Alejandra Flechner), the beautiful but unavailable Verónica (Carla Peterson), Tito's family (Monica Railo Joaquín Flammini, Rita Pauls) and other potential problems (Franco Masini) who prove to support the change in Tito as he becomes not only an hilarious companion but also a loving support for Felipe.

No, the film does not rise to the heights of INTOUCHABLES, but it has other qualities that are endearing. The one flaw that disrupts the spirit of the film is the overacting of Rodrigo De La Serna: if his antics could be tamed a bit the film would have a more touching result. Beautiful music (classical) enhances the film and the scenery of Argentina is splendid. Light but well worthy of attention.

A funny movie, very interesting aproach to a difficult story

The reality is that disability affects all cultures, so comparing this movie directly with Intouchables will only get you what you expect to see: a movie with a similar storyline and different actors. With some different people, the energy is different, but that doesn't make it bad, rather it shows clearly that this could (and does) happen everywhere so the differences are fascinating. The first 20 minutes, I wasn't sure either if it was going to end up being as fulfilling as the original. But, somewhere while watching it, you can see that the characters care about each other and it's actually more obvious which is nice. As the picture for the movie suggests, it's got a lot of fun in it and the music for the dancing scene is different but it's perfect for the character Tito. After reading both Pozzo and Abdel's books, this movie actually seems a little closer to their voices. Felipe's always concerned about Tito, Tito's always being mischievous. If Pozzo and Abdel had met in Argentina, I think this is probably about how it would have gone, ha. Great movie!!

Just as the American remake, "The Upside", this remake shouldn't exist at all, as itonly trashes what the original movie portrayed, takes away the charm to it. If never have seen the original, which is an awesome movie, then this one might be acceptable, barely. Do yourself a favor and watch the original only, "The Intouchable" with Omar Sy and François Cluzet.

These remakes are nothing but cash grabs that do nothing but fail and, even worse, give a wrong impression of what the original movie really is. The good reviews they get are from people that didn't see the original movie because there's no way someone that experienced the first one would ever give this a rating higher than 3.

In 108 minutes, is able to make you forget everything good about the original film.

The strength of the french film is probably Omar Sy. In the remake is poorly performed by De La Serna. Not funny, not endearment and not charming at all.

Although the Oscar Martinez part is correct, as always, at any point it will make you laugh or have touching moments as the original.

Only recommended if you didn't watch the original.

Evrything is a cliché, and everything is done in the most cliché way possible. Because it's "based on a true story", that's at least understandable.

The problem is that every subplot and secondary character is a disaster, and the lack of originality (any originality) makes it really forgettable. The only interesting things are de la Serna's performance and the score.

A fine, forgettable movie.
