Childhood friends Bir (Dayahang Rai) and Bikram (Anoop Bikram Shahi) drift apart when Bikram leaves for the city, entrusting Bir to care for Joon (Diya Pun), his sweetheart, with a promise to return. Over time, Joon falls for Bir, forcing him to choose between love and friendship. The film's premise leaves little room for conflict, leading to superfluous subplots and an overly eventful portrayal of the village of Shivalaya, which can feel tiresome. However, Arpan Thapa shines as Aaite Kaji, elevating the character beyond a typical baddie into a memorable kitsch, thanks to his nuanced performance.
