Founder's Day

What's lovely about this episode is that it really lets Trevor Bannister be at the centre of the chaos, and his comic timing just shines through.

You do wonder if, having been perhaps the main focus in the early years, John Inman's scene stealing turns pushing him to one side a little weren't a factor in him moving on, because his screen time did decline over time.

This isn't that great an episode other than for the performance of Bannister sadly.

Anecdotes
Throughout the episode they make mention of "that show where they show your life starting in short pants and ending shaking hands with Danny LaRue " and each person saying "I saw that I didn't like it" . This is a joke in reference to John Inman (who plays Mr. Humphries) recently being the star of an episode and his cast mates making an appearance.
