I saw this movie back in 1975 and the only thing that I remember was when he had to choose between the two girls but said "why choose" to the delight of the girls. Since then I have been to Mexico and Central America dozens of times and have visited multiple Mayan Ruins. In fact I have done all the activities shown in this movie many times over. In this movie they show many scenes of Chichen-Itza and a few short clips of Tikal, (Guatemala), and Tulum, MX. Merle Oberon's "old age" is mentioned throughout the movie, yet she dresses just like an old woman wearing a flowing robe of sorts. Why not dress young like the rest of the Hip crowd in the movie? Watch this for the Mayan scenery and the tragic love story. Larry Anderson.
This movie had many titles during its release to TV in the 1960s. Giant of the Lost Tomb is the best title for this movie as it best tells the story. Russian Archeologists, during the time of Czar Nicolas, find an ancient tomb with a strong GIANT in a sarcophagus. They rub some magic oil on his chest and he comes to life and is able to speak the same dialogue of the current time. Very strange. They take him to the Czar where he frees the downtrodden and rights all the wrongs. This movie is just a "Formula" type that was shown on TV during the strongman era. Kirk Morris is perfect in the role as a formula hero. OK time waster. Larry Anderson.
I knew of this title way back during my "research" days but was never able to find the actual video. Well, I recently watched it and enjoyed Mitchell's performance. He drives around 1910 Missouri in his "car" and more or less controls the western town where his ranch is. A kid and his dog (White Fang), decide to end Morgan's rule of the area by siding with a drunk gunslinger, played by Tony Kendall. There is a lot of back and forth but Morgan is soon routed in this comedy sort of Western. I have a clip of the video on my You Tube channel. The movie was filmed at Cave Studios, outside of Rome, which Gordon Mitchell is the owner. Larry Anderson.
