The official website of AnimeJapan 2025 revealed the line-ups for its main stages on Jan 17, 2025.

This year’s event will feature four main stages—Red, Green, Blue, and the newly introduced White stage, hosting a total of 52 programs over two days.

An overview of the stages can be viewed below:

Red Stage & Green Stage: These are closed stages with designated seating. Attendees will need both an admission ticket and a stage viewing ticket to watch programs on these stages. Blue Stage & White Stage: These are open stages. The front-row seats for viewing will be designated seating, requiring both an admission ticket and a stage viewing ticket. However, free viewing areas are available at the back, though space is limited.

It was also revealed that some stage programs will be streamed online. Further details about the streaming schedule and availability will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The end of 2024 will be bittersweet for anime Bleach fans. The Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 anime is slated to end in late December, but with an exciting one-hour anime finale on Hulu (and Disney+ for bundle subscribers).

Viz Media announced the final two episodes of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 on X (formerly Twitter). The Season 3 finale will be one hour long, airing the last two episodes back-to-back on Hulu/Disney+ for North American viewers. Episode 39 will air at 7.15 a.m. Pt on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024. Since its release in Japan in August, the new movie has grossed over 35 billion yen (approximately US$250 million), drawing in 2.46 million viewers, per reports at the time of writing.

My Hero Academia's manga may have ended in August, but the series has just received its first post-series expansion with the release of a new promotional one-shot by series creator Kohei Horikoshi. The new one-shot is designed to lead into the upcoming movie, My Hero Academia: You're Next, which is set to be released later this week.

The new one-shot focuses on Class 1-a getting their hands on Deku's notebook and reading all the notes he's made about them over the course of the series. It's set early in season 7, as Deku is shown wearing his Dark Hero costume while still spending time with his classmates in Class 1-a. Some, of course, are more enthusiastic about Deku's notes than others. The chapter is only 7 pages long, and serves primarily to set up the characters' status before the start of the movie. The one-shot is available on Viz's Shonen Jump app.

The Bleach anime TV series will continue its adaptation of the series final storyline this fall. In the meantime, fans can tide themselves over by pre-ordering a replica of Ichigo Kurosakis signature Zanpakuto.

Currently available on Tamashii Web, a replica of Ichigos Zanpakuto, the Tensa Zangetsu, is being released to celebrate the Bleach anime series 20th anniversary. Pre-orders will begin on Sept. 3, 2024, with the item currently slated to be released in January 2025. The collectible Bleach item will ship to Japan, Asia, the United States, Europe and Latin American countries. The Aniplex official YouTube channel released a teaser trailer for Mashle Season 2, previewing the upcoming "Divine Visionary Selection Exam" arc and introducing the Divine Visionaries themselves. These characters are voiced by Junichi Suwabe as Ryoh Grantz, Yuki Ono as Orter Madl, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kaldo Gehenna, Kisho Taniyama as Renatus Revol, Tomori Kusunoki as Tsurara Halestone and Saori Hayami as Sophina Biblia. Agito Tyrone was also shown but sans any voice actor information. Both the new trailer and Mashle Season 2 key visual can be viewed below.

Blue Lock returns in 2024, debuting a new teaser and first trailer for Blue Lock Episode: Nagi.

The official Blue Lock PR account kickstarted the day with an innocuous post, showcasing a scene of Nagi's 'egoism' from season 1. This was before debuting the first official trailer for the Episode Nagi film. Shunsuke Ishikawa [season 1 assistant director] directs the adaptation of the spinoff manga, illustrated by Kota Sannomiya, and is based on Nagi and Reo's perspective during the events of the original Blue Lock anime.
