I actually discovered I wanted to be a filmmaker at 6-years-old. I was taken to a child minder for the summer holiday. She was elderly, and had no energy to keep up with me. So she introduced me to her VHS film collection. I didn't realize it at the time, but I had spent the entire summer sat watching some of the most popular films of that decade. Back To The Future, ET, Indiana Jones, Hairspray, Roger Rabbit, Ghostbusters, Goonies, Annie. You name it, she had it. I haven't seen her since, but I always remember my passion for film and my interest in the industry began right there in her living room.
