The caution tape clad Superstar shined early but the inevitable power of Cargill evened the playing field, but it was a Jax leg drop from the top rope that nearly ended the match early. Cargill nailed Naomi with Jaded, but Jax bulldozed her opponents to break up the pin and kept the match alive, and a subsequent Super Samoan Drop from Jax and a huge splash from Cargill couldn’t end the bout either.

After a phenomenal run of 17 years, one of WWE’s most beloved characters, Ron Killings aka R-Truth, was released by the Stamford-based company. The man who brought the fireworks of humour was possibly someone who managed to make the most impossible things happen, and all of it through memorable splashes of laughter.

R-Truth’s departure from WWE would leave a massive void in the humour division, even though that acted as an all-important break for the fans. Pro-wrestling is all about storytelling, and the art of inducing laughs in the serious, hard-hitting business needs some crazy artistry. It was 2018, and WWE Raw was an absolutely crazy show because the women of SmackDown were invading to promote Survivor Series. While this may have happened accidentally, Nia Jax threw one of the hardest punches to Becky Lynch’s face and broke her nose, making it bleed.

The producer had told her, “Do it for real, say I’m sorry later.” Lynch and Jax had time; Jax wasn’t swinging like her life depended on it. All of this made for an interesting situation, with Lynch actually bleeding, but she had made the best out of a bad situation and ended up standing tall.

This incident later inspired Becky Lynch’s “The Man” character in WWE. You can’t recreate it. That’s the real, ugly moment, and it shows that these WWE superstars put their heart and soul into a storyline every time they step foot into that ring.

According to the franchise, John Cena can be the WWE champion at 48 years of age, but a woman at 38 should be portrayed as old. WrestleMania 41 had mixed bag reviews coming in after Cody Rhodes was defeated by John Cena in the main event of night 2. Not only was the match between Cena and Rhodes criticized but the overall Ple had a few mediocre moments and the fans weren’t impressed by it all. Things looked even paler when this year’s Show of Shows was being pitted against last year’s Mania, as it was a blockbuster of the highest order.

The Road to WrestleMania 41 had immense promise, especially after The Rock got involved in the very episode where John Cena turned heel. The WWE Universe believed that things were going to run their way, but much to their shock, after a couple of episodes and a handful of epic promo barbs being exchanged by Rhodes and Cena, it all dampened down. Fans believed that Vegas will be lit up but they were further disheartened.

Triple H went out of his way and introduced a new addition to our favourite WrestleMania weekend, The Roast of WrestleMania. This comedy show was hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe. It featured top WWE names like Paul Heyman, Nia Jax, and Sami Zayn.

Jax showed us that wrestling isn’t only punches and suplexes. It had the audience dying when Jax, a WWE superstar and a distant cousin of Roman Reigns took the stage.

She was really personal, savage, and unhinged throughout her set, especially when she was going against Cody Rhodes. Yes, it was comical, messy, and downright crazy, but that is the whole point of a roast!

It is reported that during the Women’s Championship match between Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae, the television screen turned dark. According to a report, the broadcasting of the match had to be paused because Stratton suffered a wardrobe malfunction, as her top slipped off while the show was on. The championship match was being taken place in Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Although international viewers accessing the event through Netflix did not face this interruption. The unedited clip of the wardrobe malfunction remained on Netflix, allowing the match to proceed without interruption for its audience.
