Alphateam - Die Lebensretter im OP

This is the best example what will happen, if you don't have a real hospital to make your episodes. Every single wall looks like it was made out of cardboard. The acting is horrible and the blood seems to be purple.

But if you know German TV, you won't be surprised.

I come from Germany and I watched alphateam a long time. I must say it isn't quite comparable with ER or some American production, but it is not bad. The characters are well arranged, and watching it, the location isn't that bad as well. I myself did not get the impression that the hospital location was made especially for that series. The plot is often really funny, and also the characters among one another act good. If one wants to see a real action hospital production, one should watch something like ER, but for the evening entertainment, alphateam is also good. If one likes hospital series, alphateam has all elements which are needed, and the laughing muscles are trained as well :-)

there was one episode, I like really much: it is called "Blutsbrüder" or so, it touched me very deep (the question was: do I have to give blood for my hated brother), may be it was another director (kamera and cut was slower, but with more sense) and Ingmar Bjarne was great as one of the brothers, also Werner Eichhorn as the magican, I wish to see this episode again!

This series is the German Emergency Room. There are different characters of doctors and patients, there's something funny and something sad. The series is about the Emergency Room of an hospital in Hamburg. My favourite characters were Dr Brotesser and Dr Pacek. But the two doctors got an own praxis. A new series called Broti&Pacek started about that. It's one of the best German series I've ever seen. Unfortunentaly most other countries don't translate an European series. But if they ever start to do that the should translate Alphateam first. If you want to watch Alphateam try to get Sat 1 on your TV. At the moment Alphateam is shown on Tuesday 10.15 PM (MEZ).
