I'm a big fan of chiquititas, although i was a teenager when i first saw it.
What i like most is the innocence, the magic, and the idea of believe that good things happens in life.
The kids that life there were all different, but they grew up as a family, caring for each other, taking care of them, and watching over the others, those are values that should be encouraged on TV.
It's true that it wasn't very real, like this things doesn't happen every day to all orphans, but i prefer a TV series that shows illusion, hope, love, and fraternity over violent and "realistics" ones.
I'm sorry but i think that life itself is so full of violence, that its cruel to keep feeding our kids with that, when we can show them that life could be different only "si vos queres..." (if you want, it a title of one the songs).
