Every car seen in the movie (with the exception of the opening sequence) is either a lime green or black new Volkswagen Beetle. The cars in the opening sequence are all classic VW Beetles.

Gaffes
When Evian goes to Skye's house and his mother opens the door, there is a baby in a Johnny-Jump-Up (one of those things that hangs in a door frame that the baby can jump up and down in) surrounded by people directly visible behind Skye's mother. The camera cuts to Evian, and when it cuts back to Mrs. Corrigan, the baby and the people are no longer there.

Better than I remember

I'd never really had a love for this movie. That being said revisiting it so many years later it's cuter than I remember and a little bit more funny. Molly Shannon plays the awkward and slightly annoying Mary Katherine Gallagher an odd fame obsessed youngster who just wants to be taken seriously. Shes of course constantly bullied and has her eyes on "hot" guy Will Ferrell. The movie plays out predictably and some of the laughs really work. Overall it's a fun flick that just tries a little to hard.
