Anecdotes
After airing an episode called "Testimonial" (season three episode five) that featured actual sexual abuse survivors telling their stories on camera, calls to the National Sexual Assault Hotline surged 75 percent.

Gaffes
The series portrays a squad of SFPD Inspectors and their commanding officer working in the 'Felony Division' of the San Francisco Police Department. No such division exists. The SFPD has an investigations division, comprised of three separate units: General Crimes, Major Crimes and the Special Victims Unit. Inspectors are assigned throughout these units and also work closely with personnel of the ten District Stations in the city on serious crimes.

Very good show

i really like this show. i know i know, its on lifetime, but that doesn't make it a bad show. it has very good drama and diologue. it shows all the real stuff that goes on in the police world. and being lifetime it focuses on women cops....something we're seeing a lot nowadays. if you like police shows like law and order or nypd blue, check this one out. women especially you'll like this. it airs on lifetime on sunday nights. 9 stars out of 10.
