10 Things I Hate About Julia Stiles
I hate that her idgaf attitude was not present in more 90s teen rom coms.
I hate that I totally forgot about the movie Save The Last Dance.
I hate that she doesn’t get the respect she deserves.
I hate that I thought she was in that movie Swimfan.
I hate that she got stuck doing generic rom coms.
I hate that her character in the Jason Bourne franchise never got a spin-off.
I hate that I really haven’t seen much of her later work.
I hate that she tricked me into liking Shakespeare as a teen.
But most of all, I hate the way I don’t hate her – not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. Oh, and I hate that I don’t know what the heck happened to her?
So let’s find out: Wtf Happened to.

There’s a lot to watch on Prime Video in October and, as you may have guessed, there’s spooky stuff galore in amongst Prime’s usual rotation of extensive library content.
In the movie Totally Killer, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka travels back in time to the 1980s to stop a serial killer. Then there’s Make Me Scream, a Halloween special that challenges celebrities to “a gruesome game of terror.” Renfield will also be streaming on the service for anyone who’s been dying (muahahaha!) to catch the Nic Cage Dracula film.
Outside of Prime Video’s more creepy fare, Shazam! Fury Of The Gods will debut, Upload will be back for a third season, and new film Awareness should scratch your sci-fi itch. Meanwhile, for Frasier heads – those who consider themselves utterly Frasier-pilled – all eleven seasons of the Cheers spinoff show will be streaming at the touch of a button.

IMDb has been the go-to source for movie information on the Internet since 'Nam, and it (obviously) takes its work seriously. So it's rare that you'll find a synopsis for a well-known movie that's anything but diligent and professional.
That's what makes those moments when you do find a bad IMDb synopsis special. But what makes a "bad" IMDb synopsis, exactly? In this case, we measured it by two things: undertones of laziness, or undertones of snark — and in some cases, both.
We found 10 in a hopeless place.
1. 'Friends with Benefits' (2011)
Analysis: To be fair, the plot of this movie should really just be "Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake take you on a first class trip to Poundtown," as that's the reason the movie exists and sold tickets. But context aside, the above synopsis would have definitely had a Microsoft Word green squiggly underline underneath it signifying the...

A Guy Thing is one of those harmless comedies characteristic of a bygone era of feel good films that came along about 10 years too late for its own good. It’s not that it isn’t funny or that it’s poorly acted, but rather its style of humor is a bit too innocent and overt for most audiences these days. The story, what there is of one, is a weak premise serving as nothing more than a skeleton for a chain of gags to hang from, leaving Julia Stiles and Jason Lee to carry the brunt of the weight from start to finish. Sadly, A Guy Thing desperately needs the duo as without it the film would have almost nothing go in its favor, making it ultimately another footnote in the legacy of mediocre comedies.

As EW’s Michael Ausiello first reported in late May and confirmed last week, The Bourne Identity’s Julia Stiles has signed on for a major role in the next season of Dexter. Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter revealed some more details about Stiles’ character, “a mysterious young woman who forms a unique relationship with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the wake of the death of his wife.”
As someone who is still dealing with the miserable, buzz-killing hangover brought upon by the sheer presence of Dex’s much-hated lover Lila (Jaime Murray) during season 2, this sentence about Stiles’ character gives me pause.

I would list 10 things I love about Julia Stiles, but I don't have the energy to try to justify the existence of A Guy Thing and Down To You. With that in mind, I'll just cut to the chase: one reason I love Julia Stiles is this parody video, which takes a jab at several of the so-called celebrity "designers" (yes, you, Lindsay!) who've unleashed their ill-advised visions on the world. Not only does the video prove that Stiles is best when delivering that acerbic wit of hers, but I have to give the girl props for supporting the journalists: "People say that the newspaper industry is dying, but I say it's living. Living on your body." Watch the parody below to see Stiles' eco-friendly invention of shants, and think about how much this makes up for The Omen.

Blair fired up for heroic star turn in Col's 'Hellboy'
Selma Blair will star opposite Ron Perlman in Revolution Studios' big-screen adaptation of Dark Horse Comics' Hellboy for writer-director Guillermo Del Toro. Production begins in March in Prague with a 2004 release planned through Columbia Pictures. Hellboy (Perlman) is a red-faced hero born in the flames of hell and brought to the world through a pagan ritual. Saved by his friend and mentor, Dr. Broom, Hellboy was raised in the doctor's Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense alongside other characters, including a merman named Abe Sapien; Liz Sherman (Blair), a woman who can psychically control fire; and Myers, an FBI agent who is Hellboy's rival for Liz's affections. Together, the heroes must come to terms with their fantastic powers, which prove to be a blessing and a curse. In the process, they discover that their abilities serve to benefit mankind but also may keep them forever isolated from the society that only they can protect. Lloyd Levin, Larry Gordon and Mike Richardson are producing the project, with Patrick Palmer executive producing. Rick Baker is providing special effects for the film. Blair, repped by ICM, most recently appeared in The Sweetest Thing. She next stars in MGM's A Guy Thing and the indie feature Dallas and Rusty, directed by and starring Scott Caan.

Jason Lee's Julia Stiles Fear
Hollywood actress Julia Stiles deeply terrified her latest comedy co-star - because he feared she couldn't be funny. Almost Famous actor Jason Lee says that when he heard he'd be starring opposite Stiles in upcoming flick A Guy Thing, he began to worry that the committed student and star of such serious films as The Business Of Strangers, wouldn't be able to raise a laugh. He says, "She struck me as a quiet, conservative, mild-mannered student. I thought, 'What if she's just not funny?'" But, much to his relief, Stiles proved to be a comedic natural. He adds, "She was very funny."...
