If you’ve been tuning in to our Gospel Stats Weekly Brand Reports, you’re probably not surprised to see MrBeast in the #1 slot. He’s there almost every week, by a truly incredible margin: His latest sponsored video got 100 million views, while the #2 video came in at just over 5 million. But what is different about MrBeast’s appearance this week is that it’s doubled.

“It’s a quarter of a century later, and I’m still f*cking being discovered by Sundance,” beamed Christopher Nolan tonight at the Sundance Film Festival Opening Night Gala as he received the inaugural Trailblazer award.

“At what point do I move onto bigger things?” the acclaimed Oppenheimer filmmaker cracked.

The wrap-up remark was made as Nolan told the story about how Comcast Universal boss Brian Roberts shared the filmmaker and his producer wife Emma Thomas post Oppenheimer‘s immediate greenlight how he caught their movie Memento by chance at Sundance during a ski trip back in 2001 with the father and the impact it had on him.

Nolan says that Thomas and he were “caught in a moment of reflection.”

“Sundance is the f*cking sh*t!” she added taking the stage to receive the Visionary Award from her co-star of 3 films, Jesse Eisenberg. The honor for is for their work as an uncompromising artist in indie film, who also has a long history with the Park City fest.

Stewart is doing double duty here at the festival, starring in the Sam and Andy Zuchero acquistion title, Love Me, and A24’s Rose Glass directed genre title Love Lies Bleeding.

Eisenberg spoke about how he was struck by the emotion she brought to what was a brief driving scene in which he had one line, and she was all face on the set of Greg Mottola’s Adventureland. Eisenberg and Stewart also starred in Woody Allen’s Cafe Society and the action movie American Ultra.

Christopher Nolan, Celine Song and Maite Alberdi will be feted at a gala fundraiser on the opening night of the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the nonprofit Sundance Institute said Wednesday.

The Jan. 18 gathering, which will take place at the DeJoria Center, will “raise critical funds to support independent artists year-round through labs, grants and public programming that nurture artists globally.”

Nolan, who started in indie film before becoming the director of large-scale studio blockbusters like this year’s Oppenheimer, will be honored with the first-ever Sundance Institute Trailblazer Award. Song, the writer and director of this year’s Past Lives, and Alberdi, who helmed this year’s documentary The Eternal Memory, will each receive the Vanguard Award, Song for fiction and Alberdi for nonfiction.

Meanwhile, former Sundance Institute Board Chair and trustee Pat Mitchell will receive the Vanguard Award for Philanthropy.

Actress Priyanka Chopra says she feels beyond honoured to celebrate and acknowledge American business tycoon Warren Buffett's leadership, kindness, and undeniable generosity.

"I feel beyond honoured to present Warren Buffett with the 2020 Global Citizen Prize for Philanthropy. In 2006, he shocked the world and promised that he would give away almost all of his wealth to those in need. So far he has donated $37 billion, but he didn't stop there," Priyanka Chopra wrote on Instagram.

"He co-founded the Giving Pledge, calling on the world's wealthiest to also give at least half of their net worth. He recognized that the moment to help was now, so he took action and encouraged others in his position to do the same. Today, we celebrate and acknowledge Warren's leadership, kindness, and undeniable generosity. Thank you... and congratulations. #GCPrize," she added.

The awards ceremony, hosted by singer John Legend this year, recognizes people working towards ending extreme poverty.

Los Angeles, Dec 8 (Ians) Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to make a very special appearance at the Global Citizen Prize Awards this year with her husband, pop star Nick Jonas. However, it is yet to be confirmed in what capacity Priyanka and Nick will make an appearance at the gala.

The awards ceremony, hosted by singer John Legend this year, recognises people working towards ending extreme poverty.

The show will also feature performances by Alessia Cara, Carrie Underwood, Common, Gwen Stefani, JoJo and Tori Kelly, and have an appearance by "Game Of Thrones" star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, reports people.com.

Top prizes to be given out include the Global Citizen of the Year, Global Citizen Prize for World Leader, Global Citizen Prize for Business Leader, Global Citizen Artist of the Year, Cisco Youth Leadership Award and the Global Citizen Country Hero Award.

John Legend, Gwen Stefani and more will perform at the Global Citizen Prize awards special, airing December 19th at 8 p.m. Et on NBC.

Legend will double as the night’s host, while Alessia Cara, Carrie Underwood, Common, JoJo and Tori Kelly will also take the stage. Additionally, there will be special appearances from John Oliver, Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Per a press release, the Global Citizen Prize will “celebrate and honor leaders who are shaping the world we want and doing pivotal work to help end extreme poverty.
