Raj B Shetty, the acclaimed actor-director of Kannada cinema, is all set to make his Malayalam debut in a web series written by Devadath Shaji, the co-writer of the blockbuster film Bheeshma Parvam. The series, which is yet to be titled, will be directed by debutant Abhilash Mu, who has previously worked as an assistant director. The series will have cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, the National Award-winning lensman of Jallikattu.

According to sources, the series will be a political thriller with a dark and gritty tone. Raj B Shetty will play a pivotal role in the series, along with some prominent Malayalam actors. The series is expected to go on floors by mid next year and will be streamed on a popular Ott platform.
