With the film doing well at the theatres, Bellamkonda Sreenivas took his time to sign up for his next film. Finally, we have news that the actor will be working with director Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega fame. The director had impressed the actor with an engaging thriller following which he agreed to sign on the dotted line immediately. The project is taking shape quickly and we can expect an official word on the cast and crew soon. Santosh Srinivas began his career as a cinematographer and cranked the camera for films such as Khatarnak, Takkari, and Rainbow. His maiden film as director was Kandireega, which turned out to be a massive hit.

Reports are rife that ‘Power Star’ Pawan Kalyan has given the go ahead for his next movie.

Director Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega fame is reported to have impressed the star with a story so much, that he has agreed to hop on board immediately after completing his current assignment.

The director has a script ready, which means that the project will commence later this year.

According to reports, Pawan will complete his current project with Trivikram Srinivas and then join the Santosh Srinivas directorial, most probably by the end of 2017.

Chennai, Feb 7: Junior Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (Ntr) is already busy with two projects, but he is likely to start shooting for director Santosh Srinivas's yet-to-be-titled Telugu project from next week.

"The film is most likely to go on floors from Feb 13. Ntr will soon finish shooting for 'Baadshah' and only after that he will start filming for our film," producer Bellam Konda Suresh told Ians.

Srinivas, of the Telugu hit "Kandireega", has also roped in Samantha Ruth Prabhu for the film.

Suresh was supposed to start "Kandireega 2" with Ram Pothineni but later shelved the idea.

Chennai, Jan 6: Telugu producer B.V.S.N. Prasad describes Ram Pothineni as one of the most energetic actors in filmdom and says his energetic persona was apt for the role in forthcoming film "Ongole Gitta".

"Ram is one of the most energetic heroes in the industry. He's lke a livewire," Prasad told Ians.

"'Ongole Gitta' is a commercial entertainer. Therefore, 'Ram's very apt for the film," he said and added: "We've made the film in such a way that his character is better than the energetic roles he has played in films such as 'Ready' and 'Kandireega'."

"Ongole Gitta", directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, also stars Kriti Kharbanda.

"We're left with shooting of one song. We hope to release the film during Republic.

Chennai, Dec 6: Telugu actor Junior Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, popular as Junior Ntr, will star in the next yet-to-be-titled film by producer Bellam Konda Suresh. He has replaced Ram Pothineni, who was initially signed on for the project.

"Ntr has given us a go-ahead with the project. He was very inspired with the script and has agreed to start working from March next year," a release from the production company said.

The film, which was initially launched with Ram, was tentatively titled "Kandireega 2", following the success of the prequel which starred Ram in the title role.

The makers haven't disclosed the reason.

Chennai, Nov 8: Telugu producer Bellam Konda Suresh, who produced commercially successful action-comedy "Kandireega", wants to recreate the same success with his new film, which is yet to be titled.

Santosh Srinivas, who directed "Kandireega", will helm the new project.

"I'm working with the director again because I'm sure we will make the film as successful as 'Kandireega'. The success of the last film persuaded me not to change the lead cast of the new film," Suresh told Ians.

While Ram and Sonu Sood will be seen again in the cast, Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play the leading lady.
