As Star Trek enters 2025, there remain 4 big things fans want. 2025 marks the 59th year since Star Trek: The Original Series premiered on NBC, and the franchise on Paramount+ is transitioning into a limited number of Star Trek currently scheduled for the year. Only one series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3, and the first Star Trek streaming movie, Star Trek: Section 31, are known to premiere on Paramount+ in 2025.

While Strange New Worlds remains popular, and takes Star Trek: Discovery's place as Paramount+'s new flagship Star Trek series, the franchise has ended four of the five shows that sparked a new Star Trek renaissance from 2017-2024. Star Trek: Picard ended its 3-season run in 2023, and both Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Lower Decks wrapped their respective 5-season cycles on Paramount+ in 2024. In 2023, Paramount+ also abruptly canceled Star Trek: Prodigy, which was then ported over to Netflix after a passionate fan campaign.

The action thriller made the most of the New Year holiday. The footfalls remained the best during the evening shows, which registered occupancy of 65%. The overall occupancy throughout the day was around 48.08% in the Kannada belt.

After a predictably gut-churning amount of carnage left in the wake of Art and his acolyte, Victoria Heyes, the murderous clown confronts Sienna Shaw once again in the movie's climax. Their face-off involves a major character death and a nightmarish literal and metaphorical cliffhanger, and leaves very clear paths forward for both Art and Sienna.

While there were plenty of kills in Terrifier 3 that could induce vomit, it felt like a forgone conclusion that Art and Sienna would make it through the threequel. The ending of Terrifier 3 was clearly not meant to provide any finality for their ongoing conflict,...

Genet wasn't the museum security guard she claimed to be in the first season. She was a janitor working alongside Sabine, who's her right-hand woman in the present day. Sabine and other janitors encourage Genet to join them in a strike for better healthcare and treatment, but Genet is less than enthusiastic about it. Neither the government nor tourists care about their healthcare.
