WHY ON EARTH DOES THIS SHOW GET SO LITTLE CREDIT?! This show is awesome exept the budgets low and it shows but what could you expext? Its really funny, family friendly and has a good story the only thing i hate is that it got canceled

Disney absolutely sucks when it comes to writing clever family sitcoms. It started out okay but once the weird voice snob girl came in and the puppies, it went downhill fast. I mean come on I tried to watch with my kids but even they didn't keep interest in it. Also, the constant jokes about eating cats wasn't funny in the slightest. So yeah the show has been banned in my house but not by me😹. It was banned by my daughter who owns couple kitties and hated the eating cat jokes, bacon wrapped cats, stuff like that all done in poor taste.

A dog who seems to be smarter than the humans and seems like he runs what happens in the house. the characters are not cut out for comedy at all. they are all annoying and unrealistic, I've even come close to losing my dinner to some poor comedy comments. don't we have enough of these talking animal shows and movies? i don't let my kids watch this, in fact it doesn't keep their interest. my teen daughter is upset because they replaced my babysitter is a vampire with this low low grade entertainment... i sure hope for my kids sake they do removed this program. and for the sake of my friends with kids, their opinion aren't very high about this program either.

This show is actually quite funny. Initially I was underwhelmed but surprisingly I now quite enjoy it. While the writing is quite low-brow occasionally the writers throw in a couple of joke gems that make you laugh-out-loud. The parent actors fall back on slapstick comedy but the children actors have great comedic timing and mostly do a really good job.

This is not a bad option for a family TV show. It is entertaining, has plenty of good jokes and provides viewers with a diverse family that many people can relate to. The talking dog is a nice touch and is surprisingly funny.

So don't discount this show from the first couple of episodes as it does get better.

I cannot believe the other two people who wrote their reviews wrote what they put. First off the dog is REAL! The Dog in this show is entertaining as well as funny. The only thing CGI is the mouth moving which isn't a big deal to get upset about. Second the characters in this show are great! I absolutely love each and every family member in this show! Thirdly this is the best show Disney Channel has to offer along with Gravity Falls. I do not watch the other shows much because of their plot but those are for kids! When I watch TV channels targeted towards kids I watch it as if I am still young. The episodes so far are funny and great and amazing so I enjoy them which is what I did and what we should all do if you watch a show on a TV channel for younger audiences. The other two reviews the other people wrote just bashed everything for no real reason, plus they don't sound like kids to me. One of them cussed and said harsh things towards the cast and the other just backed everything up for the other guy. Overall Disney Channel is for young audiences and for people who can enjoy a family show. This show is great and I hope it continues to get more seasons. Dog With A Blog is funny, sweet, family friendly, great, and entertaining. Enjoy the show!
