Since André Schneider was the only one on the set who spoke English, French and German, the set language had to be English even though the film was shot in French and most of the crew was German.
Hanna Schwab replaced Barbara Kowa who dropped out of the project due to a theater commitment, and Marc Hodapp replaced Marc Bluhm.
